Excellent Car
We have a 2004 model ( 17 years old). This car is so reliable and dependable. Still in good condition. The mileage is already 475,000+. The key is to have a regular change of oil, brakes, pads, and rustproofing. Excellent Car.
From start to 191K+ trade-in, My Lil Toyota Matrix
I just recently traded in my 2004 Toyota Matrix. The original A/C made it through four months ago. This car has been through it all, and managed to have a working power sunroof, working power windows and locks and an interior and exterior in good condition after 14 years and nearly 192K miles. This is one hearty and practical car, comfortable to ride in and fun to drive. My only complaints were - out of the gate, the original battery died in the first few days and I experienced issues with the alarm system not deactivating if I parked in certain areas in line with cell towers or other radio signals that would interfere, but apparently this is common with other Toyotas and Lexus vehicles. But I must admit: I'd always heard Toyota cars and trucks last a long time, and this one definitely did. If I didn't lose my A/C here in hot and humid Florida with rainy spring and steaming summer around the corner, I probably would have kept it to 200k miles and beyond. Great car!

GREAT all around car
bought after reviewing all the amazing reliability reports and excellent gas mileage and have not been disappointed. ZERO issues! only changed the oil, flushed other fluids after 4 years and 140,000 miles. You will not find a better value around and quality to go 300,000+ miles
Turns heads around
The most elegant looking, economical spacious like a van and the best value for money. Compare the looks with a 40K Lexus RX 330 and compare the storage space after folding seats with an Odyssey. (I own that one too!) My biggest pleasant surprise after 5 yrs of use and fully paid auto loan I have an asset with book value of 11K !!
Fourbanger Fun
I love the XRS. I actually had a XR and it was a great car too, but I wanted something in a manual. This is a fast little car at approx. 4500 RPM. What is great you dont have to go that high and drive it economically. For a car that is fun, roomy, comfortable, decent MPG, and sporty. Look no further.
