Used 2001 Toyota ECHO Sedan Consumer Reviews
a unique car
When I bought my ECHO, at first I had a few reservations. I had never owned a small car, never owned anything less than a V-8. I waw; however, plesantly surprised. The ECHO has plenty of room my me, and I've fit up to 4 of my friends comfortably in it. As for power, it even has plenty of that.
edmunds review all wet
I don't understand how anyone could put down a car's instrument panel that finally makes sense. You can see anything on the instrument panel clearly without looking away from the road at anytime! The car has plenty of headroom. I had 5 grown adults in the car and everyone was comfortable. Two of the adults were overweight. Getting in and out of the car is a breeze. The radio controls are within reach. Handling is great on normal days and controllable on windy days.

THE AWESOME ECHO
The ECHO is a great car. its little, stylish, and very good on gas milage. i would recommend it to any parents buying a car for their teenager. i remember the 1st time i saw an echo...i was in love. though the wind might affect it, its not that hard to control. with the echo you really get alot for your money. i think that the fact that i could have had almost anycar i wanted (except maybe a Lamborghini) and i chose the ECHO, speaks very highly of it. The Rio, Accent, Focus, or Neon have nothing on the ECHO, i truely believe that its the best car of the 21st century.
Makes Being Thrifty Fun
The car is unbelievably roomy for its size (headroom and legroom are outstanding, even for 6-footers). The engine is smooth and responsive. The exterior styling, grows on you, and the interior design is brilliant. The amount of storage space in the interior...with its myriad, smartly designed cubby-holes...allows you to fit everything you want to take with you to have its own space. Gas efficiency is, of course, excellent. Visibility, due to the high seating position, is as good as any car I've ever driven. Even the trunk is surprisingly large. Reliability, so far, seems typical Toyota.
This thing is a workhorse
This Echo is a little workhorse. It just goes and goes and goes! Smooth as the day I bought it. A lot roomier inside than it looks. Control placement is well thought out. Everything is just built right on the Echo!
