Used 2023 Toyota Corolla Consumer Reviews
Great car, great value
I wanted a cheap to own, a fun, somewhat of a driver's car. I've had numerous Camaro's SS with the m6 transmission. This car may not have the monster tq and hp nu beta it still maintains the fun factor. The new chassis on the hen corolla is excellent. Handling is just where I want it. Soft bit not cushy with good manners when driven. Decent corner entry and if you're in the right gear, sweet corner exit. Interior is much better than I expected. Love this car with the moonroof too. I wouldn't even consider this car without a manual and the 2.0L. Great pkg for the money. Miata was too much money for what it is, Civic is weak imo. This old hotrodder/ road racer in me loves this car for a daily driver. My only gripe? The b pillar between the f and r door makes entry/ exit a minor pita for me. My Camaro was easier to get in and out of due to the rear of the was about a foot behind the driver seat. Love it...👍

Almost 40mpg.. not much else
Under sprung, underpowered, noisy interior. My three major takeaways. If you are looking for mpg go get one, if available. I cant find another reason to make a purchase of this car

It will work
I don't like the door lock set up. You have to put the car in gear to lock them. No other option. Of course you can hit the fob. No tire pressure gauge on dash. If you rent the app for $8.00 a month it's provided. Cheap gimmick because the app actually sucks. Problems with Alexa/ Toyota app too. I just use Spotify instead. I like the car otherwise. I just like basics. Sound system is adequate for me. I like the driver assist, radars and safety features. A couple of times I drove really fast up behind some cars and the alarm goes off. I think it also slows down or corrects if you are to close. It really works.

Reliable above all else
I needed a mew car and it was between the Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. I chose the Corolla because it came standard with adaptive cruise control and a host of safety features, plus it's a Toyota! It drives quickly and quickly down the interstate. I did not buy the Corolla and expect to beat a Mustang. The Corolla's strength is its proven reliability. I bought it because its a damn good car. I could easily afford a large pickup truck or SUV but I just don't see the point in wasting so much money on fuel and maintenance. I average about 60 miles a day on my commute and I average between 36 and 41 mpg driving around 75 to 80 mph. I bought the base model and upgraded the wheels with Velox rims from Costco. I have about 2000 miles on car so far, no complaints and I look forward to many years of reliable driving. Thanks Toyota!

Middle of the road
Good reliable vehicle so far. Great gas mileage. Issues I have had: rattling in back seat ceiling, they had to place 2 dampeners. High pitched sound from blower, they replaced blower but still a problem. Seems to be a thing with toyotas but they have not come up with a solution. There are places to put small coins in the front of the car. Glove box is small. There is no light surrounding the keyhole to start the car. No sunglass spot. Using FM radio is a nightmare because everything is on the screen. Cupholders are not adjustable. Only USB-C ports. Rust spot on top of the car a year in but probably from a rock or something hitting.
