I'll compare it with my old car: 2008 Accord V6. The bad: Ride is stiffer than my old Accord. This could be due to SE trim having sportier suspension, but LE felt significantly slower than my old car. Also, very basic features for a car with 24k MSRP and no Android Auto (only Apple Carplay available). The good: The car is smaller and feels a lot easier to park. Leather steering wheel and 8" infotainment screen are nice. Also, position of screen is very high so it is very easy to look at when driving (some cars' screen set lower). A lot of safety features comes default (adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist, auto hold etc). I feel like even though it is missing some comfort, Toyota put most of the amenities that would be useful for driving the car.

I got a 2020 Toyota Corolla Le with only 9500 miles on it and i drive it for a while then i mentioned there is a weird noise .. after one day the car won`t start and i took it to a mechanic near by me he found metal in the oil so i tow it to toyota dealer to see what is the problem but unfortunatly they said is not under warranty for a reason and i have to pay them 580$ when they checked it and i have to change the engine ... what i dont understand now ,there is a lot of bad reviews about the 2020 corolla engine !! i m really disapointed

I was a big fan of Toyota and especially corolla, i had a 2016 corolla and recently sold it and bought a 2020. The metal and plastics that are used are so cheap and so filmy it is so easy to scratch and get lot of dents all over the place. NO ANDROID AUTO in 2020 where everyone else had android auto in 2017, very disappointed in Toyota not sure what they are thinking. Entune and Scout are a mess, you have to connect a cable and Bluetooth and my LG G5 keeps crashing.

A very early review, but one that's necessary. I don't have any big caveats, just to let you know to consider this subcompact carefully. We call it the best thing going in a cheap car. In short, we like the handling, and the surprisingly quiet cabin (as long as the windows are shut). Like many drivers, I am leery of the CVT transmission, but know that Toyota makes their own (as does Honda) and that their track record is pretty good. I also made sure to get a car with a "J" vin number, as I expect Japan's quality control to be better. The CVT's shifting feels competent to me. Acceleration when merging is doable with the normal automatic kickdown effect. It seems smooth and quiet, except for an audible howl at about 2400 rpm on steep uphills. I think it's just a characteristic of the engine-transmission combination and consider it to be benign, although slightly annoying. I've never before seen so many nanny features on a car. I turned the Lane-changing and Lane wandering alerts off, at least until I am comfortable with using cruise, which in CA Bay Area traffic is almost never. I don't want a computer jerking my steering wheel. Whether or not Blind Spot Monitoring picks up bicycles is inconclusive, so use it with a healthy amount of caution. For now I leave to rear-end crash avoidance warning on. These features do seem to work, but read up on them and never trust them completely. My mechanic warned against buying a car with any of these features, because a parking lot hit or a broken windshield will necessitate a very expensive replacement of the affected sensors. I had to tell my guy that ALL new cars have all of them. If you absolutely don't want them, buy an older car. We're stuck with them. The only real complaint I have is that this and nearly all other cars these days sit too damned low. Getting in and out are OK, and I don't feel it's so low while driving it. But, I've scraped driveways off the street and parking lot bump blocks. Knowing this, my wife and I are very careful now. We nearly bought an SUV for the higher stance, but concluded that the mpg penalty just wasn't worth it just to sit higher. Will post another review in a couple of years.

This is my second Corolla. I own this car for a five months and I have 14000 k on it handling is very good, acceleration is good, comfortable seats. But there is a lot of issues. Road noise is painful at highway speeds, a lot of rattling in the celling on ruff road I went to the dealer they cannot find problem, lack of storage inside cabin, control buttons are to small, buttons for interior lighting are very hard to find wen driving at night. If you have problems with road noise don’t buy it driving over bumps you will need ear plugs
