Cant Beat the mileage, sold me!
Traded in a 04 Dodge Stratus for a new Corolla and not disappointed a bit. With gas prices soaring at all time high best move i could have made. 32 miles in city and I havent put it on the highway yet!
Corolla CE was a great choice
Other than the driver's side side mirrors having blind spots I really love this car. I get 32-35 mpg. Had to replace a belt at 35000 miles. No other problems. This car is as simple as it gets but parts not there won't cause trouble. It won't win any races and if you don't mind not to have power doors or windows and can drive a standard, this could be a great car for you.
Great Little Car
During warm weather getting 40+ miles per gallon (35 in sub-freezing weather). Never have to worry about it getting me where I need to go. Recommend keeping tires inflated to 30 psi as Toyota recommends.
2006 Corolla
Its been a great car so far and I would definitely buy another one.
My 9 Year Old Wants It When She Turns 16
After 3 months and 6k miles, my Corolla is exactly as promised. Whether I drive 65 or 85, A/C on or off, the car gets 37-40 mpg. There is plenty of room for 4 adults, and all of their luggage. The ride is pretty good (all highway miles), the handling is very good, and the shifter's throw is short, enabling quick shifts, thus enabling the revs to stay high. The car really springs to life above 4000 rpm's. Have second thoughts about getting navy blue - it looks great when clean, but the slightest rain will turn it into a mess.
