I really like this car. I didn't know they made cars this high in quality! I bought the CE with power windows and locks but that's all the option I wanted. I just placed 1300 miles on the engine and I am starting to see the high MPG. That will be really nice this summer when gas hit's $3.30 a gallon.

My wife and I just got our new Corolla and we love it. If I had one word to describe it the word would be value. We also have a 2002 Mazda Protege and we like it too but the Toyota seems to be superior in quality, ride, and mpg.

An excellent and reliable car. I recently had a bad accident in my former Corolla, and I am pretty sure I wouldnt be typing this if I was in a lesser car.

V8 vs. 4 CYL

I recently traded in a 2004 Trailblazer with a V8. It was fun to drive and this small car will take getting use to. But the gas mileage is outstanding, especially when comparing to a big SUV. Although I don't have all the luxury features of an expensive vehicle, this car is real nice for me. The standard features and value make this a great car to save gas and have fun driving. It also handles way better than any SUV. It works for me. I'll just buy a cheap used pick-up truck for all my heavier needs but drive the new car to work. I compared all economy cars in this class, and nothing comes close to gas mileage, price, reliability, standard features, and looks.

Got the used car in 2008. High resale value bites both ways, doesn't lose much value when selling, but ain't getting as much as competitor cars when buying. Decent build quality, but some haphazard metalwork and greasing present, probably clogged door's drain hole. Car is relative quiet and comfortable, but steering feels artificial, especially when hard turning corners; feels like wheel orientation and steering don't match up. Rattling present at 30K, unacceptable for Toyota. Lot of blind sides when backing up; lot of newer cars seem to have similar problems (trunk too high, pillar too thick, window too small). Bumpers can't take a hit. Reliable but disappointing purchase.
