Now I Want to Drive Just to Drive This

I have had my Corolla XRS for just over a month and about 1,700 miles. I am very happy with it. If I had known it requires 91 octane before buying, I probably would not have bought it. The shifting took a little getting used to. And the fact that you have to run the engine over 6000 RPM for the real performance to show seems is probably wasted on me, because I rarely race the engine to those extremes. Mine is black and I had the windows tinted with a nice black onyx tint. I think it looks great, very sporty, especially for a Corolla. I have already had to hit the brakes due to a oblivious driver and was happy with my ability to stop. Good braking was a high priority for me.

Needing to save $ on gas, this car does it. Excellent wood grain interior, all controls easy to access so you don't take your eyes off the road. I can't wait to see how long I can make this car last.

Car was good for the first 4 years. Dealer will try to talk you into maintenance that you don't need. Better hope your fuel pump doesn't breakdown. It costs $1140 to get a new fuel pump installed. Better hope your headlight doesn't crack. $200 just for the part. That doesn't even include labor. Overall, I would rate it 7 out of 10.

Corolla S

Toyota Corolla is a fun car to drive. Purchased the model 'S' for the wife and she loves its design and features. Family and friends are often awed by its looks and wonder how much it cost. Wife feels like she is driving a luxury car with all the standard features this car provides. I would recommend Toyota Corolla 'S' to anyone looking for reliable good looking car.
