Used 2000 Toyota Celica Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Blind Spots
The car provides too many blind spots. Had to add mirrors in order to change lanes a little safer. The back seats were even unconfortable for my 6-13 year old nieces. They hated the car even though it looked nice.
This Baby does fly
This is my second Toyota (I had a 94 pickup previously). I was looking for a car and never really liked the style of the Celica but once I test drove it I knew it was mine. The exterior design rapidly grew on me! This car has nice acceleration, seats, sound system, and man "it turns like it's on rails" (what my neighbor said as he test drove it). Country roads are a blast! It hasn't had to have anything done to it but an oil change and new rims. New rims please!! Stock ones are hitious.

Mostly Good...
I got my Auto Celica GT from my dad, supposedly for my work (i got fired 3 days after i got the celica) I really do like the overall style and reliablity. What sucks though is the POWER! more specifically, the torque. I guess what hurts in my case is the automatic and GT model. I really wish they had tossed in a turbo or something... i actually had a choice between my celica and another one on the used car lot... it was a red GTS manual with lots of upgrades...WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!
