Used 1995 Toyota Celica Hatchback Consumer Reviews
'95 Celica GT Hatch Still Gets 26-30mpg
At 213,000, I still have the original transmission in my 95 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback in Baltic Blue. She has a 2.2 liter 16 valve engine and I just now replaced the radiator. I have always used premium unleaded. Mileage increased 5mpg upon moving from CO at 6K feet to near sea level in OR. The hatch is great; fold down the back seat and I can carry a bicycle or other large items in the car. I plan on remodeling the outside very soon, and replacing engine parts as needed, to keep her as long as I can, hopefully to enter her in shows when she is old enough! She is smooth, accelerates nicely, gets out of the way of reckless drivers quickly. Be careful: "Think" to turn right, and she does!
Celica GT
I have had over 7 years of trouble free driving, inexpensive to maintain, fun to drive - just enough performance with a 5 speed, suprisingly carries alot, used it to many times

1995 GT
Just got her today, but I can tell it is love already. THis one reminds me of my 85 MR2 of days past. From the moment I test drove it you could feel the Toyota quality. Love the short throw shift and the speed / ease of the clutch pedal. And for what some call a bug eye front end others just call HOT!
Beautiful Car
If only the 1994-1999 Celica GT Liftback had a bit more power it would be perfect! 4 wheel disc brakes, great handling, beautiful styling that still turns heads, nice interior, solid feel & constuction, incredibly reliable. Driven hard daily, 170000 and counting through Canadian winters without a single little problem.
Great little car
I had reservations about buying a used car from a dealership. After test drive I made the gut decision that the car felt solid. Dealer was open about car history, It had been purchased at an auction in So. California and had no sinister baggage (i.e. it had never been totaled). I've been happier than I even expected. I've never spent a dime on anything except routine maintenance-and that has been low. This car, like every Toyota I have owned is so dependable that it has developed a personality. I have never named it and I don't baby-talk to it, but I have patted the dash-board once or twice.
