Used 2019 Toyota Camry Sedan Consumer Reviews
Take a long test drive! ...Regret my purchase!
2019 Camry XSE 4 cyl I am not a car expert, but I enjoy my cars. I have owned around 40-50 cars in my life. I have never once written a review before on my cars as I really haven't cared too much before. Even had a pretty crappy Hyundai, but this Toyota by far is the worst driving experience of them all by far! Interior: They had me with the looks. Very stunning black looking car with red interior. Like a person its on the inside that counts though. 5 month owner with almost 9500 regretful miles on the car. Driving: Please do yourself a favor and take a long test drive. Stop and go many times. The experience that you will feel is a lag when trying to accelerate and then bam that little 4 cylinder will kick in and put you back in your seat as only a 4 cylinder could. That would be ok if you maybe are trying to get out into traffic quick, but if you are just trying to leave a stop sign at a normal pace, it is not a pleasant experience. Try playing with the different modes and it really doesn't help much at all. Sound: This is not a cool V8 power sound that is coming from the vehicle. It is a loud annoying sound that is not cool. You would think at the looks of the vehicle you are buying luxury, but alas its just not that great. Rock noise anyone? Yep if you drive down the road you get to hear those little rocks hitting every underside or side of the car, not sure. I do not live on a dirt road. Just regular Minnesota pot hole roads. We must have a lot of rocks here and the Camry reminds me of them. Seat comfort. Perhaps I am spoiled at how my 2015 Fusion Hybrid gave some side stability and comfort, but the Camry just does not seem to match the quality or comfort. Hopefully this helps someone else out there before you invest in this car. I wish I would have spent more time reviewing reviews before I purchased before I make this very expensive mistake. There are plenty of reviews with owners stating some of the same issues with the driving experience.

Camry xse
Just bought the Camry model xse. I have to say by far I love the design of the car. But the only thing I regret about is the acceleration is so slow makes it hard to speed up during merging into lane. N getting on the freeway.i feel like I'm a turtle going so slow. I figure with 203hp it should be very fast but it's not an to me it's a safety issue. I would not recommend to friends or family but I'm stuck with it for now. Only 100 miles on it so far. Stay tune for me update.

Uncomfortable seats for long commutes
I drove a 2002 camry for 236,000 miles and a 2012 camry for 104,000 miles. The 2002 and 2012 camrys were comfortable enough and suitable for long commutes and vacation trips. I then bought a 2012 Camry. No red flags on the short test drive. It seemed like mu old Camrys. However after one week of driving it on my long commute I was having hip pain and leg pain from the hard front edge of the seat. The seats are too hard to sit in for long commutes! Also, the ride is rough. I have to sir on a seat cushion just to drive it now. I’m looking to trade it at a loss. Be sure to test drive any Camry for an extended test drive before buying. Toyota, please add cushion to your seats and make your cars comfortable to drive like they used to be. Who cares about technology if you can’t stand being in the car for more than a few minutes!

Disappointing - XSE 4 Cylinder
Just purchased brand new 2019 XSE dual tone w panoramic moon roof. Cost, close to $29k. Regret it already. Acceleration is utmost horrible especially in the first two gears. My wife's 6 year old Honda Accord beats it 10 to 2. I am very disappointed and already have a buyers remorse. I wish I had read Camry forums on this issue as Toyota won't be fixing it as they seem to not even recognize it. Please stay away.
My Second Lease
The Camry XLE looks good and the interior is comfortable. The safety features are excellent. The panoramic glass roof is quite enjoyable. The trunk space is more than adequate. Driver's seat is comfortable. Apple play is a very useful feature. I was disappointed that there is not the memory feature for the driver's seat position. Engine noise in the cabin is noticeable much more than in my 2016 Avalon. Overall, this is an excellent vehicle.
