2019 Camry XSE, 4 cylinder a V6.

This new Camry with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine makes plenty of power, and I see no reason to pay $4000 for a V6 option. On a 200 miles road-trip I had taken this weekend, my Camry achieved 41 mpgs on the highway, at speeds of around 70 mph. That's really good, considering it makes 206 horse-power without a turbo charger. The performance is actually very impressive, but when one doesn't step hard on the gas, the car is very mild mannered. Bordering on being a sports sedan, the handling is great too, with very little body lean in hard corners.... I'm not kidding, it's that good! Ride comfort is not floaty, but more securely firm and buttoned down. However, it doesn't beat you up driving over bumps. I opted for the top of the line XSE version of the Camry, which comes with leather, heated seats, the huge glass moon roof, (which I really didn't want), 19 inch wheels with low profile tires. NEWS FLASH!!! Toyota reliability can be fun!

Just purchased a week ago. Have taken 6 hour trip. Love the V-6 which is very smooth and powerful. The transmission does slightly jerk at times at low speeds and sometimes doesn't downshift when get on it to pass. Overall very nice combination. I wanted a V-6 for the smoothness and less maintenance than a turbo from the competitors. I'm 5'5" and the front seats do make my back ache between the shoulder blades as the natural curve of the front seats rolls the shoulders inward. The infortainment system works fine with only one phone connected via Bluetooth (calls, links to phone book, Google Maps, Pandora, etc.). Salesman said not to connect more than one phone and do not use the cables to run the navigation via the Toyota app. You can use the charging ports in the armrest to fast charge phone without connecting to the navigation via the phone (connections front of console). All other portions of the care are great. I highly enjoy the vehicle and it provides the blend of comfort (except seats) sportiness and efficiency which I was looking for. Gas mileage aligns with window sticker. The car does have some rattles which I will need to take back to dealer for. I did not expect this in a Toyota.

I have only had my 19 SE for 3 days and have 90 miles on it. Compared to my 17 SE the headlights do not light up the side of the road like my 17 did. I do not like the feel of the accelerator when you start off at slow speed. At times the car bucks when starting out from a dead stop and you have to push the pedal down a lot more to get the car to be in the comfort zone for power and to shift at the right speeds. This new 8 speed transmission seems to shift way to fast into the next gear. ( just a matter of time before they come up with a new PCM re flash) Also the Lane Departure Feature is very sensitive, it picks up the "Tar Snakes" in the road and moves the steering wheel back and forth. I have a friend who is a Class A certified Technician for Toyota and he said that these are common complaints with this car and a re calibration will more than likely be coming out to address things. I like my 17 a lot better at this point.

2019 Toyota Camry XLE Having Acceleration Problem

I purchase brand new 2019 Toyota Camry. During my test driving, I only drove local streets and not the freeway. I used to own five Toyotas in the past and was well aware of the performance. Nevertheless, on the way home after purchasing the vehicle, I already felt the acceleration problem. I test drove again in the evening because I wasn't feeling comfortable with the vehicle performance. It was the same thing. I only had the vehicle one day and regret purchasing the vehicle. I probably will trade in the vehicle other than Toyota with taking a great loss in money. Very disappointing.

This car is amazing in all ways!! Used as a daily commuter car, I can’t say anything bad about it. Style, comfort, room, even performance which is surprising for a camry... great get up and go punch! XSE V6 is the way to go! Nice looks, even a panoramic sunroof so the roof is black.. very eye catching with the white body. Red interior looks way better in person and the seats are as comfortable as a Lexus in my opinion. Lots of luxury features in this car for 10-15k less than a luxury sedan.. all backed by great reliability numbers and quality. Smooth ride, good looks, affordable maintenance, comfort.. what could be better?
