Loved it! Buy one.
Great car. I just sold one with 140,000 miles on it and I had only only a couple of minor issues. I am 6'3" and weigh 230. Very comfortable. Test drove the newer model, but I really needed an SUV for work purposes. I love my SUV, but I already miss it.
Best Car I've Owned
The first 9 months I owned this car I put on 23,000 miles driving 100 miles roundtrip to work each day. The time flew by due in part to the comfort of the ride, quietness, and ease of handling. It handled extremely well in the WI winter weather of snow and ice. I'm ready to buy a 2004!
Best car yet
Only 307,000 on it so far so just getting broke in. Easily three times the rust-bucket Ford I traded in although same year. Quality and goodies galore. I'm 77, expect this be my last car, can't think of a better way to go. Update: 333K now, running great, over 30MPG always, no rust (in Wisconsin) but parked inside overnight in the winter. Found out by accidentally misjudging merging into traffic that was going faster than I expected, it does 6,000 RPM quickly and effortlessly.
Still a lot to work on
Car is OK overall. Few problems: 1. Front window is crap (5 scratches on it in 2 years) 2. Losing all power if you put regular gas. 3. Hard to reach front display. 4. No alarm on XLS Style 5. Brake shose must be replased after 25k (should be after 40k)
the best luxury for the money
have bought four for the family over the years. safe, roomy, quiet, great ride, great gas mileage, low insurance rates, low maintence
