I have a 2014 Trail and love it. The 4x4 goes anywhere and reliability in the 6 years I have had it has been perfect. I’ve only done fluid changes. The styling is like no other SUV and the build quality Is better than any other suv I’ve had. Resale value in these is what it is for a reason. The engine and transmission work perfect together for everyday needs and there is no worry of being stranded. My ONLY complaint is fuel economy.

I love my new Limited 4-runner. drives awesome, so glad we decided to go with this vehicle. Everything is amazing about the SUV, the comfort, the room, the leather, the sound system! I can't say enough good things about it!!!

This is my third 4Runner, I am moderately pleased with this one. It remains absolutely unchanged in 2019 so that's a plus for resale etc. The infotainment system is just okay, interior layout and options the same. The transmission is notchy and hard shifting but reliable. Toyota needs a diesel in America... period. The 4.0 is okay in all aspects but not impressive at anything except durability. It's pretty much exactly what I expected but hasn't impressed me much. And although it's intangible, it lacks the "soul" my 3rd gens had.
