This makes the third Saturn in my family, I learned to drive on a '94 SL...came back to Saturn and have NO regrets! This car is great! I've only had it for a month but already 1500miles. Performance is great, seats are comfortable, feels like a much more expensive car than it is. People smirk when I tell them I have a Saturn, until they see it or ride in it!
Think hard before you buy the ION

I purchased my ION in March of this year. I am already hearing rattling noise under the car. I also do not feel that it is a smooth ride. I am also furious because the seats are made of a cloth material that stain. I only drink water in my car and the water creates large round areas of discoloration on the seats and it doesn't come out. I am just disappointed in my new car.

This car was purchase with 19,000 miles. It has leather interior and XM Satellite radio which I have not activated yet. It is my nicest car to date, but the black color requires weekly hand washes and detailing, as well as waxing or the dirt shows! I hope the car remains reliable in the next 5 years! I will keep my fingers crossed, for now I am very happy with my purchase! Also had a good buying experience. It's a good alternative to Civic, which I know from experience requires lots of maintenance over the life of the car.

I've only had my ION for a little over a month but I love it. Good gas mileage, atrractive interior/exterior, and some interesting features.

great power and handling for a family car - 2004 has a nice interior and good ride - great gas mileage - aftermarket wheels/stereo round out the deal - great potential for a smooth family ride
