Best Saturn Car Yet!

The ION3 is a fantastic automobile and a great value for the price. I have owned two previous Saturn cars and although I liked them very much, the ION is the best car Saturn has created yet. I love this car!

I bought the new Saturn Ion in January, and I absoultely love it! It is cute, easy to drive, and fun. I am getting mixed reviews from my peers. They either love it or hate it. I have heard that the looks remind them of an Infiniti, Jetta, and Passat. Everyone agrees that the commericals are lame!! But, overall great car for the price.

1st Saturn purchase

I absolutely love my car. It is fun to drive. It gets noticed. Everyone has a comment about its unique styling, i.e. center mounted cluster bezel. My mom bought one within weeks of my purchase. However, be mindful of purchasing this car if you have children-especially big ones. I have 3. I can only transport two in the rear seat in car seats. With car seats in place, I cannot fit a 3rd person, even a small one in the rear seat. Although I've got my sites on buying an SUV in the near future since I'm doing most of the family transporting, I hope to hang on to this car as my "fun car".

My dad bought the car new in 2004. And the two of us have put over 70,000 miles on it sense with very few problems. The greatest one being the starter, a factory problem, that we have had changed out twice (its a $30 part, with labor being at least 3 times the cost of the part). Other than that simply doing the basics, oil change, alignments etc. One notable experience was when i drove through 1 mile of flooded road over a foot of water and i made it through, no stalling or problems after exiting the water.
