True Sports Car
This 911(964) has been a fantastic driving experience since the first day from the showroom. Superior handling, instant acceleration, great brakes and a feel for the road that is top of the field. Complete fun and has never been to the shop except for scheduled maintenance. My neighbor has a Testarossa and we excanged test drives. The 911 is superior in every category except top speed. And where can you drive 180+ mph ? Humm. Take the 911.
It's a blast
Without a doubt this is most enjoyable car I've ever owned. It's still a thrill after owning it for eight years. It's a head-turner, sure to draw comments from admirers whenever I drive it. I drove earlier models of 911s before deciding on this '92. I find it is a great combination of classic Porsche styling with enough creature comforts to make a more enjoyable ride than some of the earlier 911s. A great car and frankly more reliable than any of the BMWs I've owned that have all been 2001 or later years.

Most underrated 911, Don't believe it !
My car has 60,000 miles on it and I have owned 4 Porsches. This is the finest, comfortable, and most reliable Porsche series ever built! Yes, they are expensive to maintain, I maintain it at Porsche exclusively and it runs perfectly. I get 18-19 mpg city which is rare for an exotic car. The key is maintenance. The distributor should be replaced every 50k due to the belts inside - that with a proper tune up is approx. $2800. When the engine seals need to be replaced, there are a lot of them, approx $2000 total. When serviced properly, they don't leak oil.The a/c and heat work wonderfully, not like older models with the red, pull up lever freezing for the heat to kick in.
My Third Porsche
Fantastic car in every way. I have selected the Targa again because I love open air cars and prefer the Targa to a convertable because I have run the car on a number of race tracks, and you must have a roll bar in order to be allowed on the track. The targa top has also allowed me to carry my 18 foot canoe on the roof. The car is super quick, trouble free, and a blast to drive at speed. I would recommend anyone buying a Porsche join the Porsche club as in will add to the fun of owning the marque.
porsche america roadster
Porsche hasn't yet made a ride as beautiful as the America Roadster. It is one of the all-time rarest Porsches made, and its low-slung wide turbo body is gorgeous. Its turbo running gear, suspension, and brakes are top notch, and the fact that its a roadster makes it a true collectible.
