Buried Treasure
Search for these belonging to older folks, who have maintained them....The 3.8 V-6 "3800" is one of Ward's Top Ten Engines for YEARS...I get 25-28mpg with a 4,500 lb car.. Body by Fisher...comfort AND Front-Wheel Drive...They are snowplows! 1986-90 Buicks and Oldsmobiles are the most under-rated cars EVER built. I've owned 9 of them...the Delta 88's, Regency 98's, the LeSabres, the Park Avenues... Buy, drive, then sell, and double my $$. Go on a quest on craiglist.com....even if you have to travel cross-country to get one.. Have made three 5,000+ mile cross-country road-trips in the past two years. Wyoming to east coat, and Tampa, Texas.. Set the cruise, and just let 'er run..Like sitting in your LaZBoy at home..Smooth.. And watching hiways filled with cars that don't get 29mpg, are NOT comfortable, and the owners have CAR PAYMENTS.

Just got this little creature
I just bought this car for $850.00. KELLEY suggested that price, EDMUNDS suggested less. I gave that price because the owner had put in a new gas tank, cd system, new fuel and brake lines and the car ran very nicely. It has quite a bit of rust around the tire wells and door handles and antenna mount. The underside of the car (being driven in upstate New York),is pretty rusty, some of it superficial.I have a friend who will do body work. The car is quite comfortable with plenty of back seat room and the material covering the seats is still is excellent and the interior vinyl work is excellent with no rips or discoloration.

great car
12 years and running fairly strong, only a tiny bit of rust (those tough new england winters), it's was handed down from my parents when i decided to commute to college, it's gotten me almost all the way through
best car so far
Bought the car with 90K on it. Noe I have 210K. I have not done any maintenence on it except oil changes and breaks. It is by far the best riding and most comfortable car I've ever had. I get unbelievable milage on the highway. I am dissapointed, however, that it has only one cup holder; but a quick trip to Canadian Tire for a console fixed that. This car is reliable, gets great milage and has enough power to make you feel confident when passing on those busy 2- lane highways. This is a great used car!
