I love my "x". i will continue to buy an x-terra for as long as they make them. I am going on 40,xxx and it is still the best choice I made. Even with gas prices jumping i will take out a loan to cont. driving my "x".

Well built, powerful, and easy to drive in tight quarters. High seating position gives a commanding view of the road, but the short wheelbase means it can park where the soccer-mom Suburbans can't.

I purchased my SE 4-WD x new in sept 2005. It has 20k miles now and I really enjoy this truck. It is a blast to drive. A V-6 that feels like a V-8! 5 spd auto is awesome. Rockford Fosgate stereo is great. I added Gibson CAT back exhaust, and AirRaid cold air intake. 75 mph on the highway and 21 mpg. Mechanically I belive this is one tough truck. Easy to clean interior as well. Here are my complaints: Platic materials need to be more durable in a truck marketed the way this one is. 3 warranty trips to the dealership for squeaks, rattles, and hitch recall. Local dealer is really good.

This SUV is so awesome. My husband was not too sure about my choice. After riding in this only twice...he now wants one for himself. He loves the huge truck tires. This rides and drives like a truck. The insurance rate was so low. I went from a 98 dodge van to this vehicle and only raised my monthly insurance by $15. WOW! This is a truly amazing vehicle. I will never own anything else. Keep it UP!!

We recently purchased an 05 Xterra to replace the wife's Subaru Outback. The Xterra has a solid feel to it. The engine delivers excellent low end power & the acceleration is great even adhering to the 4K rpm break-in limit. The ride is firm without being harsh. The steering is a bit vague on center but the overall feel is good. The brake pedal feels a bit soft but the stopping action is very good. The seats are firm but could use more side support. Overall the Xterra is an excellent choice.
