Great in snow great on fuel
Caperboy7, 01/22/2022
2018 Nissan Rogue Sport S 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl CVT)
31000 miles/52000 kms The AWD makes a real difference in the snow and on ice. The fit and finish is holding up well with no rattles or leaks. The safety features are really nice to have with the audible alerts especially in parking lot areas. I am pleased with the gas mileage mid 30 mpg and up on long hauls. Would definitely buy another one.
UPDATE: A nice reliable vehicle good on fuel … and well appointed with safety features. Purchased new from dealer. 40,000 miles and no issues.
Worse warranty ever

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport S 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl CVT)
My windshield cracked for a reason that I totally don't know. My Nissan Rogue is only two months old. I took the car to the dealership and they said that something might have hit it. My thing is that for a car that is supposed to be so good it should take more that a pebble (the dealership said it could be that) to crack a window. Obviously it would not be cover by warranty . I am really … unsatisfied with the Nissan and needless to say that this would be my last one . Lynnes Nissan in Bloomfield New Jersey offered to help with some of the charges and that has been the only positive thing in this whole ordeal . I guess I should have gotten another Toyota. If a windshield could crack just like that anything else could happen. Talk about safety!
A tank in the snow

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport S 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl CVT)
Bought new and so far very pleased with the unit. Really good in the snow and gas mileage is impressive. Interior heater is slow to heat up. The vehicle has a slight surge or tug at 50 mph (80 km) which according to the dealer is characteristic of the cvt transmission. The safety sensors for blind spots and backing are excellent. Easy to get in and out of.
Comfy Rogue Sport

2018 Nissan Rogue Sport S 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl CVT)
I have leased my Rogue Sport going on year 3 and still love the SUV. Just the right size. Very comfortable seating and plenty of room front and back. Deep storage area in the trunk and my dog enjoys the ride in the back seat. The first few months with the vehicle I had a scare with the Emerg. Braking system and had Nissan turn it off. Otherwise, no other issues and am thinking of buying … it out at the end of the lease. It also has great pick up and exterior looks sporty also. Love the look of the headlights!

Which Rogue Sport does Edmunds recommend?
The SV sits in the middle of the Rogue Sport model range and it's the one we recommend. It comes with an upgraded sound system, dual-zone climate control and push-button start, but can also be equipped with extras such as a 7-inch touchscreen, a surround-view parking camera system, and navigation. Instead of the SL's larger 19-inch wheels, the SV comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, which improve ride quality.

Driving
6.5Don't expect a sporty driving experience with the incongruously named Rogue Sport. This is one of the slowest vehicles in its class. Around turns, it is stable but does little to inspire driver enthusiasm.
Comfort
6.5A mixed bag of good attributes and areas that could be better. Ride quality is decent until the pavement gets bumpy. Climate control is effective, but the midlevel SV seats don't distinguish themselves. Engine noise is more prominent than we'd like, though the cabin otherwise filters out noise well.
Interior
7.5The cabin is roomy and easy to get into and out of, and the fundamentals work well. Forward visibility is solid and the front seat spacious. Four adults can fit with surprising ease, though as with much of the competition, backseat legroom is limited.
Utility
7.5The Rogue Sport has above-average cargo space, especially when the back seat is folded. Cabin storage is about average, with the usual assortment of bins and cubbies. Car seats are accommodated at the outboard positions, though the front seats need to move forward for rearward-facing car seats.
Technology
7.0The Rogue Sport's available driver aids help it score high in this category. The 360-degree camera and rear cross-traffic alert systems are rare at this price point. But device integration, audio quality and center-screen resolution are weak links in the system.
