Very nice car
I test drove everything and finally settled on the Altima. Drives wonderfully and gets good gas mileage. Exterior styling is awesome. The 2.5 moves it well...can easily be at 70+ mph. Watch out for smokey!
V6 is da' Bomb
I bought the V6 Altima and love the power. I don't have to ask to merge on the expressway. Also, the auto climate control is very functional. I wish Nissan would look to Toyota/VW on the interior quality of materials.

Altima: The 4-door sports car
Being 21 years old I never expected I'd be purchasing a 4-door car. After getting behind the wheel of a 3.5SE I knew I had to have one. I never realized a mid-priced 4-door could be so fun to drive and handle so well. I bought my Super Black 3.5SE the very night of my first test drive. I'm proud to say that the Altima is my favorite car and I'm not overly sad to let my Accord V6 go.
Nissan Altima
I love the car's looks, especially the rear view. We had aftermarket leather seats installed, but am happy with the other interior. I traded a Buick Century for this and am most disappointed in the Altima's ride. I even lowered the tire pressure to try to help. Also, my Century V6 use to get about 32mpg on the road and Altima 4cyl only gets about 28mpg.
luv this car
im not one bit sorry that i bought this car! it is worth every penny
my car
it is a great car. I love my car so much.
Super car one complaint
Great room inside and trunk. great design.
Ultimate Ultima
I bought this car for my mother and sister and they love it. I drive it sometimes and want one ion my driveway. Highly recommened. Love the styling and quality!
nissan
was surprised by how much room their was inside this vehicle, the trunk was average sized.
excellent
I have owned 4 Nissan's in the last 13 years. They are well built, easy to drive, comfortable, and give you a little bit of luxury with out the big price on any model you try. Test drive one and you will feel and see the difference.
Good design
Good design and fairly fun to drive
Get This Car. If you like Very fast!
I am very impressed with this car as it it very affordable and has a ton of features that actually work like it says in the advertisements. Very Quiet, very powerful engine. Great interior layout. Nice gauges that are easy to read day and night. The car is breath taking fast and stops on a dime if you have to. Great looks and great performance at a great price is basically what this car adds up to. One test drive and you wil be hooked on the 3.5SE V6 model, Guaranteed.
Altima excellence
Driving is not one of my favorite things to do, but after buying this car, I can't wait to get behind the wheel. My only complaint is that it is so comfortable to drive it almost puts you to sleep.
go
geat car - nice design inside & out - very safe, good price, FAST..WILL LAST 4EVER
wow!!!
its amazing and very affordable! i want everyone to get one!! you will love it, im not joking
My 2004 Nissan Altima
I have always liked the Nissan aotomobile. Unfortunately, I married a Ford man who would not even consider a FOREIGN made car! Now that we are separated pending divorce, I'm back with the old tried and true-a 2004 Nissan Altima which I am thoroughly enjoying. This is my first Altima. I previously owned a Maxima and a Sentra GXE both of which were wonderful cars.
Nissan Altima-good driving
I did experience a problem with the computer ABS when I first purchased car that took awhile to be repaired, but Nissan did make good, and I have not had further problem. Great sound system but maybe a little to powerful for car since it cause the rearview mirror to vibrate.
Nissan Altima
Fun to drive. Everything is in the right place. Plenty of amenities on this model. Got the new color ( smoke ) and think it is sharp. Suspension, roominess, and engine are better than the comparables. This 4 door has my 3 sons thinking it is a sports car.
the best ride in town
This is the second Altima we 've owned, after an excellent performance by the 2002, that we had for about 2 years, we went browsing and alas, traded in the first (we rec'd about $11000 trade in value), and came home weith a new one. This is still the best we've had in the many cars (mostly new ones) we've had in our marriage (35years) In a term "The Greatest"
My favorite seat
Drivinig this car is exciting. I have to stop myself from racing. My grounding element, my daughter prevents this ofen, but when alone, or on an open road, it's road rage or 80 and up. Lord grant me patience. I don't like the turn radius. I don't like the the mirrors that don't fold in. I don't like the way rain falls into a cracked window. The rain deflectors look hideous. It's also a lot of area to personally handwash. I have every option the factory offered on my interior. Details, details. but when I am done, he's beautiful. I don't like the CD holder door with loses its spring immediately. I don't like the
Super car!
Great car with a lot of guts! Beautifully designed interior and a very stylish exterior. I made the perfect choice!
Love this Car
I have driven a V-6 Accord for the last 3 years (bought it new) and the Altima is much more fun to drive. The stability and the acceleration is far better than any other mid size car. Why would anyone spend the extra cash for the Maxima?
My Alti 3.5 SE
This is a very fast car. Much faster than my Grand Prix GT that I had before this. Interior materiels are really cheap and crummy. Nissan really cut corners on the inside materials. Excellent engine. Ypu have all the power you,ll ever need and then some. Engine noise in loud on the inside.
The Altima is th best!
I have enjoyed this car so much. It has so much power. On the highway you don't even realize how fast you are going!
Nissan Ultima
This model continues to reinforce my confidence in Nissan products. After 19,000 miles now I have only had it back to the dealer for oil changes and a tire rotation. The car is wonderful to drive, very compfortable, sexy and beautiful...I love it...
My Favorite Car
My Altima is that pretty sage green color. I can't tell you how many people compliment the car. It acclerates well and has excellent response. The Bose sound system is a must. I can never own another car without a sunroof. You will be spoiled. My only regret is that I did not get ON-Star.
Classy and Elegant, Great Gas Car
I had a Nissan Xterra and loved it. However the gas mileage was not what I expected. Having to fill up every week for gas. So I traded it for a new 2005 Altima. What a classy, elegant car that is like driving a cloud. Smooth ride, great interior. Roomy with lots of head and leg room for all. A tank of gas now lasts me 2 weeks instead of one. I have gotten so many compliments on this car. (Mystic Emerald color) Have been a Ford driver, but am now a SOLD Nissan fan.
GREAT CAR
I bought my 2004 Nissan 2.5Sl new, and have loved driving this car. Only issues I've EVER had are typical brakes, tires, battery, etc. I now have 105,000, and it still runs like new.
Nissan Altima 3.5 Se V6
The dealership was awesome, very friendly and did not push us. Test drived two vehicles and both drove great. Very impressed with the altima. Found it very competitive with the honda accord but overall we were more impressed with the altima. Because it had more inside space, better body style and more affordable.
rides like butta
Next to the Honda Civic this is the best car for your dollar. You get an excellent & very comfortable city and highway ride. Excellent feedback in steering and handling. Top notch sound system w/ Boise. Eye turning exterior style. A very heavy a-la-carte package yet resonable base balances it out.
First Time Nissan Buyer
Love it. This is the first time I have ever bought a Nissan product and it's great. Couldn't ask for a better car for the money. I previously drove a Intrepid and loved that car but this handles much better than that car and it is fun to drive. The only flaw I find is that on a windy day the car is a little lighter than I am used to and doesn't handle as well as a heavier car.
Don't rush buying a Nissan at the Avenue
The car looks nice. After a year the engine had to be repaired for a recall and it still rattles and using oil. The car is very noisy and rides like a buck board. Motor is slow pick up. The dealership was not up front when we bought the car. We had no vehicle and should not have rushed in buying the Nissan, usually buy Fords. We are very dissappointed in the car and very, very disappointed in the dealership in not keeping their promises. We will go back to Fords.
A little Disappointed
I have always been a big fan of a Nissan product. When the new body style of the Altima came out, I just had to have one! I find that my new 2004 Altima, has plenty of interior room, alot of get up and go and a great look...but it lacks on interior quality. Considering these are not cheaply priced cars, there is alot of room for improvement!
the best affordable car in the market...
from a one, I was like wow.... The car had all I needed and then some..
New Altima
We have only had our Altima for a week but we love it. Great handling and cornering and terrific acceleration for a four. The engineering of the car is outstanding. We felt the Altima had a sporty feel to it that was lacking in the Camry and Accord. We traded in a VW Passat which also had great handling but poor reliability.
3.5 SE ALTIMA 04
This is the best car I ever got.It has alot of horsepower.
Nice
This is a great car at that price. It was a good buy for me because its a good performing vehicle.
My Car
Went from a Honda Accord to Nissan Altima and have no regrets in doing so.
Can't be beat
You show me another car out there that I can but for $25k that combines, performance, space, reliability, and looks and I'll buy it. As far as I am concerned every other car comes up a little bit short in in one of those areas, or has a higher price tag in order to match the Altima in those areas. The Altima can't be beat, literally and figuratively, just ask the Bimmers, Audis, Acuras, Mustang GTs that I leave choking in my dust on daily basis.
altma rocks!
We love our Altma on the, we drove it from Va. to Ga. and enjoyed every moment of it. We can't wait until the price of gas changes so we can do it again.
Excellent Altima
I had a 2000 Altima which I did not like at all. My 2003 model is head and shoulders better in pickup, perfomance, appearance and design. I have the touring model, which is a showstopper, literally. A man stopped me in the street to ask what the car was, so taken was he with its appearance. The handling and performance match the looks. Lots of back seat and trunk room, too.
Best car i ever owned
I had more fun with this car than any other car i ever owned. Moved up to a Nissan Quest.
Power to spare
My wife bought a 3.5SE in May 2003. She let me drive it occasionally and I fell in love with it. Bought my own 2 months later. Satin white is beautiful on this car. The power is phenomenal, especially such quiet, smooth, neck snapping acceleration. It's not always the power you use but what what's in reserve. This has RESERVE !!! Can't wait to start it up in the morning. absolutely the most fun car I've ever driven. And all this for $21,200. Awesome Plus !!!
Suspension
This is a great car, run fast and have a great interior space.
Satisfied with this choice
It rides and drives very well and the interior is laid out well with plenty of smaller storage compartments to put things. The seats are comfortable enough for longer trips. My only complaint is some of the interior plastic somewhere in the dash near the passenger side door will rattle slightly going over rough roads and also the roof under the cloth lining will also. It's one of those things that is so slight that if you took it back to the dealer they wouldn't be able to find the problem to fix it. Nissan just needs to make the fittings tighter during assembly.
Nissan Altima
I've been researching this vehicle for two years now..it far exceeds anything else I've looked at in comfort, drive, and looks. This car as class all around.
Great Get around town car
I do independant consulting, and after much deliberation and delay, as well as numerous test drives of other cars, i ended up with a 2004 altima. I've had it for a week, so i wouldn't expect to have problems yet ;). It has been very fun to drive, very smooth, pretty good power, and would recommend that everyone take a test drive. Would have ended up with a 2005, wiht the upgraded interior, but the $1500 rebate and tad lower negotiated price was too much to pass up. But do check out the 2005, i think the interior quality will surprise a lot of honda and toyota fans.
for $23018 great
the wife loves it, For the price what even comes close too it???
excellent
i love my car. i have only had it for two months, but i put alot of miles on it going to and from work. it is a very smooth ride and i love the look of the car, especially with the sunroof add on.
BETTER CAR
BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR MY BIRTHDAY! VERY HAPPY WITH IT! HAD A 2000 DODGE INTREPID AND IT LOOKS GOOD, DRIVES NICE, BUT STARTED FALLING APART AT 48,OOO MILES. DISSAPPOINTING! NO MORE AMERICAN CARS FOR THIS GIRL! MY ALTIMA RIDES SMOOTH AND IT IS ZIPPY FOR A 4 CYLINDER. ROOMY INTERIOR AND DESCENT GAS MILEAGE.
