A Few Flaws

Got an ML 350 with 3rd row seating. Great option for those with children under 12 as they fold out of the way sideways and can be removed entirely pretty easily. Car is beautiful with Inspiration pkg and upgraded sound system is a must. I knew mpg wasn't going to be good, but faulty gas gauge sensor has made it worse (Could only go 200 miles on a tank, as sensor wasn't reading final 7 gallons or so). Also the moonroof didn't open properly at first and after getting it fixed, the weatherstripping around it is now falling off. I am hopeful dealer will be able to fix permanently. All in all, fun car to drive with a few production defects.

Hi, I Recently purchased a 2003 ML320. I have to say that this is a geat vehicle. I always dreamed of buying an SUV, but I never thought that Mercedes would fit the bill. I feel like I am gliding in air when I drive this car. All I can say is pure fun and enjoyment. My 3 year old sun loves the 3rd row seats and will not sit anywhere else in the SUV.

handles like a dream and solid as a rock!! gas mileage could be better but a lot of truck. bose sounds great but needs controls on steering wheel. third seats are really jumper seats but if you have small children they work.

This is a great SUV. Super comfortable, great 4WD system, super capable off-roader (even beyond it's class), and excellent sound system with the Bose premium sound system. However, my 2003 ML350 has been ridiculously unreliable. I bought it with 105k miles and I'm not at 144k miles. It almost religiously needs some sort of repair or maintenance every 4 to 8 weeks. It has gotten ridiculous. So much so that after 2 years, I'm finally considering getting rid of it just because I've had enough with the unreliability. And this is coming from a wrench who has done ALL of the repairs myself. If someone owned this car and didn't have any car repair/maintenance skills, this vehicle would be dead in the dirt or put them in the poor house.

Had this car for a while now, enjoy it thouroughly. We did have a couple of issues, such as, power window switch going bad, power streering hose coming off. However, got an immediate first class service to address the issue.

After driving Chevy Blazer 3 years Looked at ML350 What a difference ! When you compare fully loaded GM VS standard ML 350 you get a lot for your money. I wanted get 7 seat capable I got M1/M5/M7/168/873 just below invoice. Plus good trade for my Blazer LT (by bye blazer). . Satellite tracking/Tele-aid/garage door opener are BIG+ Classy interior. Indend to keep it for a long time....

This is a great vehicle - we owned a 2000 320ML and this is an improvement. The Inspiration edition is worth the extra bucks - we paid only $350 more for it and it's great!

The ML320 is one of the safest SUV's in the market. It feels like you are in a M1 tank. Although, the gas mileage is average in its class it has excellent acceleration. It also has excellent off road abilities, thanks due to the "low range". I looked at purchasing BMW X5 but found this Mercedes M calss offered more vaule for the money.

FUN CAR TO DRIVE, IT IS VERY FAST AND A VERY GOOD RIDE. THE PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD WITH MY ML500 IS NOISY BRAKES, REAR TIRES WEARING OUT PREMATURLY AND BAD CUP HOLDERS. DEALERSHIP STATES THERE ARE NO CURRENT FIX FOR ABOVE PROBLEMS BUT THEY ARE VERY AWARE OF THEM. ALSO IT SEEMS THE PAINT IS VERY THIN. IT CHIPS VERY EASY.
