Clunk/Rattle
Has clunk/rattle in rear when stopping/starting from slow speeds. Dealer claims it is rear camera and it CAN'T BE FIXED!!! Unbelievable and incredibly annoying. Have also complained to Mercedes National but no one seems to care.
Even zero stars is too high
I bought a 2023 GLA35, what I thought was my dream car. Boy was I wrong. The experience I have had with the brand new vehicle I bought from Carriage House of New London CT, has been excruciating. 9 month old car has been in their shop for 6 weeks and it took that long for them to figure out the issue. They took that car apart every which way from Sunday and put it back I don’t even know how many times, and now they want me to take the car back and everything is ok? Everything is not ok. I am working with Mercedes USA in an attempt to get my money back because how can a brand new car be in the shop for 6 weeks. Merc USA has the abject worst customer service experience I have ever had. The only good experience I had was buying the thing and that HAD to be good because how else do they get you to buy an overpriced car. The dealership gives you the option to email everyone that works there, so I emailed the owner about my ongoing (I think this qualifies as a lemon) issue, only to be called my the sales guy; I guess I am not worthy of the owners time. Trying to reach my ERM is like pulling teeth and when I was finally assigned one she told me it would take up to 8 weeks to review. So I get to continue to drive this deathtrap till Mercedes as a cooperation feels that I am worthy of any their attention. Never ever ever buy a Mercedes. Ever. Anywhere I can post this review, there it will be. I have got nothing but the runaround from this company. The absolute worst.

Love my AMG GLA 45
I had the 2019 GLA 250 and in 2021 upgraded to the AMG GLA 45. The difference was enormous. This is such a fast car that you really need to be a good driver with lots of experience to handle it responsibly. it’s definitely tempting to speed constantly because the car wants to GO!! No complaints other than I wish the seats were more comfortable. By the time you get all the upgrades you are looking at 70k+. There’s no such thing as a $250 monthly lease unless you put at least 30k down, so who ever came up with the economics on these vehicles hasn’t bought one. But compared to the cost of other AMG’s that go slower but cost twice as much, this is a great value. The way the engine sounds is probably my most favorite aspect of this car. The handling is incredible, brakes are sharp, love the auto high beams and the cascading effect when they turn on. I havnt seen another one of these on the road so I like that it’s rare and I can find it in the parking lot very easily. I actually get 30 miles per gallon on the hwy if I stay in comfort mode and don’t go over 70. Lots of high tech do-dads that actually improve your driving experience. Sticks to the road like Velcro, I added a sub woofer (how can you not) with a powerful amp, tinted the windows really dark, put all weather tires on it, my husband calls it “The Beast!” It definitely is!! Beauty and the Beast

Beautiful but.....would have expected more from MB
Got this car for my wife about 18 months ago, trading in a BMW X2 Xdrive when she fell in love with it. Pros: Beautiful car; best luxury and beautiful interior in the category out there, nice tech, powerful motor, excellent torque and handling. Cons: Uncomfortable hard seats (compared with my other car, an Acura RDX); transmission jerking and clunkiness particularly at low speeds. Heard this is mostly due to a normal issue with dual clutch transmissions, which I was not accustomed to, and will eventually get used to it. But coming from an expensive luxury car, MB would have done better with it. Hard cheap plastics in door panels and B pillars. Bumpy ride. Very noisy motor, it sounds like an old crappy coffee maker machine. Sound system is not even a joke. The depreciation for this car is a huge disappointment. The BMW X2 did not have this kind of beauty and luxury, but definitively was a way better balanced and performer in the road. Well..... will enjoy it a couple of years more while the value gets near the debt, and will get something else as soon as my wife gets bored with it. Update: after 30 months and only 15k miles on the odometer: 1) wiper and washer motors broke down, 2) the driver seat cheap MBTex ripped itself (no abuse or misuse, we are very careful with our cars), 3) the fuel door does not close. That is with so little use, imagine 3or 4 yrs from now and with warranty expired! No way, The love is over, already traded in and got rid of the thing. The lesson was: if you want a Mercedes, go to Cs and up, do not waste your money with the entry level cheap models.

Mini GLC - What's Not to Love?
Turned in my beloved '19 GLA on the 2021 due to space concerns. The Good: ride quality (no longer feel like my joints are being dislocated when hitting a pothole) seat comfort phenomenal MBUX entertainment system (it's really easy to figure out, so don't listen to the haters) MUCH more interior space increased visibility edgy front grill ambient lighting augmented video navigation many high tech features acceleration The Not-So-Good: substandard audio system sound as compared to previous generation (upgrade to the Bermester sound system) gone is the fun, rally racer, almost WRX quality ride - it's now a true compact SUV
