Used 2023 Mazda CX-5 SUV Consumer Reviews
So light the wind picks it up like Mary Poppins
Over one year driving this cheap car and how I want to return it. Gas mileage averages 20, yes 20! On the Highway I got 22mph. Been windy and felt like the car was being picked up like Mary Poppins. Tried to pair car with my phone, which was not easy to do (by the salesman) and it disappeared. Only works with Apple Play, so if you have an Android, good luck. Basic model screen controls are awkward and hard to play music and navigation at the same time. Control has to be turned one by one. Some safety features are nice, but that’s about all the positive comments I have.

Wish cars were easy to exchange!!
I bought this SUV based on reviews. Test drove it and loved the ride. Then after having it awhile I hate (yes, hate) the interior layout. The drink holder was designed for T-Rex arms. It’s right below the middle console which makes it tough to naturally grab a drink. You can’t open the door without a key fob. The auto-lock safety feature is too safe!! Whoops, forgot something in the car after you are already in the house? You better have the fob, even if it’s in the garage!!!!!! The display and controls don’t even make sense. For “safety” nothing is touch screen and the graphics are nil. That means I have to fumble around and look down (in front of the drink holders I hate) to maneuver. I am on the site looking at how I can dump it now!!!

Love my CX-5!
I've only had my new CX-5 for 3 days but I love everything about it. It rides really nice and inside it's super comfortable -- plenty of room and great user-friendly technology. I'm glad I switched from GM (ending a 30 year relationship) and went with Mazda.
A CAR THAT LOOKS NICE BUT TECHNOLOGY IS DATED
I absolutely HATE my car. I've had it for a little over a month and if I could, I would give it back. The technology is outdated. It does not have technology that I am use to Bluetooth, Touchscreen, and Remote Start on the Keyfob. There is NO Touchscreen, you have to grab a little turn dial knob from the eighties, to switch to things. The remote start is on an app and is a joke. It takes at least a minute or two, even if you are standing right by the car, for the signal to get to the car to either remote start, lock, or unlock your car. I really hate they do not have the remote start on the key fob. Also the reminder to put on your seat belt sound gives me a headache. It is not a soft sound like others it is terribly annoying. This vehicle does not have BLUETOOTH!!! Come on, at this point I think all vehicles should have wireless charging and bluetooth this should be standard across the board. If you are looking for a vehicle with touchscreen ( I mean full touchscreen), bluetooth, an a remote start that you actually have in your hand....DO NOT BUY THIS CAR.

I really like my Premium CX-5. Wanted to go with Premium Plus, but dealer sold the only one an hour before we arrived. The exterior is sleek, the interior trimmed nicely, and the BOSE stereo is bussin’! Only wish it had a heated steering wheel and the remote start didn’t shut off when you open the door. Bought in March and already have 18,000 miles on her. Nothing more than normal maintenance has been done. Super happy and seeing if a CX-90 is going to be my next purchase.
