It was not my choice. I really wanted a charger. After driving it, I like the radio control on the steering wheel. It will save me on gas. The seats are comfortable, and the car can get up and go.

The 2.3L 4 cylinder cars handle slightly better due to the reduced weight. The ergonomics of the hatch are unmatched in the sporty sedan market (even Saab dropped theirs). In addition to these features which put the Mazda 6 at the top of our list the car is a PZEV - partial ZERO emissions vehicle, meaning it pumps our 1/5th the pollution of similar cars. Also this car has a lot of Ford based domestic parts, including the new, larger, brakes from the heavier Fusion. Feel good about your ZOOM, ZOOM. It is not marketed as a car for flag waving greenies, but it is a car that feels good in more ways that just behind the wheel.

I've owned a lot of cars, including Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette. I test drove Toyota Camry and Avalon, Volkswagen Passat, Hyundai Sonata and Azera, and Mazda 6, Speed6, and CX7 ( 2006s & 2007s). I got this car new for $7,000.00 under list. Nice handling, comfortable ride for four people, good looking, good sized trunk, first tank of gas returned 19.5 mpg in mostly city driving, and fun to drive. Quality build and materials inside and out. No problems so far. I love this car.

I had one problem 4 days after I got it. The throttle casing had to be replaced. No fun trying to drive under 30 mph when in a 50 mph zone. Was fixed immediately, but had to drive it all the way back to the Mazda dealership, 2 hours away. Overall, I am very satisfied with how it runs now. Would recommend it to other potential buyers.

I have this car for a month now. The mileage right now I get is solid 30mpg (highway and city combined). I expect it to be even more when driven properly, not using the fun manual transmission (MT) and accelerating like crazy. MT is a blast in this mid size "sports" sedan. I was very much attracted towards the sporty look of this sedan. The drive is comfort. Brakes are awesome. And there is great acceleration when you need it. I recommend this over any other compact car that people may be buying especially when they are spending too much money on compact car. This car is not that big as other mid size sedans. It's the perfect size for people up to six and a half foot tall.
