My Mazda6
Bought new and had a throttle casing problem in 3 days. Was fixed immediately. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with this car. Gets better gas mileage than my Jeep Liberty.
Love my Mazda 6 w/4cyl
This car has greatly exceeded my expectations! After 50k miles, not one "issue" and getting 31mpg on freeway! Love the handling, fuel mileage, and excellent room with rear seat folded. A friend has the 2006 Camry and she has less room in trunk and cannot fit her road bike in back unless both sides are folded, resulting in her able to only take 2 people...with my Mazda, I can get one road bike inside with only one side folded down and still able to carry three people (2 front/1 back seat). Happy Mazda driver here!

V6 to 4 cylinder
I traded in a 1999 Mercury Cougar for this car after my brother was in a terrible wreck and lost a friend so I wanted it for safety! I love having all the airbags and the cage I feel soo much better driving. This car is amazing, it has the same pep as my Cougar but much better gas mileage (about 27 in the city). I went looking at a Highlander Hybrid or Mariner Hybrid but ended up with a luxurious roomy and comfy sedan for much less, plus the Mazda people were amazing.
Very sporty/very nice
Two kids in college took me downmarket from the Infiniti and Audi range but I'm not disappointed. Very smooth performance from the 6 speed auto which is well matched to the 6 cylinder engine. The S Sport model handles like a demon with very little body roll and is really a hoot to drive. Seating is supportive with a very good power driver's seat. Being over 50 I'm not crazy about the rear spoiler which smacks of "boy racer" but overall the styling is eye catching and sets itself apart from the plain vanilla of Camry and Accord. The ride is just a bit rough over bad pavement and expansion strips but overall this is a great car.
Sporty.....but a letdown
I have owned the Mazda6 since March now and put over 9,000 miles on it so far. It's a nice, sporty looking sedan but It needs some improvements. The engine sounds nice but in terms of power, it's lacking. At 215hp stock, i am getting smoked by Accords, Camrys and other sedans. The car handles good, but the turning radius is horrible and the suspension will rattle your teeth when the road is bumpy. Front interior is roomy, but rear is very small. Gauges look nice but the dark lettering and colors could be hard to read sometimes at night. Interior feels cheap too. Overall it's a decent buy, but for the money you can spend $3-4k more and get a Passat or a SE Camry.
