Used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L SUV Consumer Reviews
Run far far away from this vehicle update 3/12/25
3/12/2025 Update: run even further from this absolute piece of garbage. The designers and engineers need to be fired and hire new fresh faces that can rejuvenate this half dead company. Certain problems have returned such as malfunctioning heated seats. The vehicle lurches forward when engine is cold in about 50 degree weather. So that’s fun. The computer had to be completely replaced. Numerous recalls. One of the which they can’t even fix yet. This is absolutely insane. This vehicle should have never been allowed to exist. Never will I ever spend money on a Chrysler/Fiat brand ever again. They follow the tradition of “it’s good enough” mentality from the 1980’s. I think the same people from the 1980’s are still making all the decisions which is wrecked this company. I will be purchasing Japanese vehicles moving forward. Which is a shame I took pride in owning an American vehicle but the quality and reliability doesn’t exist. It’s 2025. Time to make a reliable car. Leased from brand new. Nothing but problems from the very beginning. Steering alerts. Passenger seat wouldn’t heat up. Stealerhsips resposne was “it’s a jeep” Electronic systems failed. Stealership said they resolved it. They didn’t. So back in the shop again for I think the 5th or 6th time. The idea of owning a vehicle is to be able to use said vehicle. Not sit in waiting rooms and be denied loaner vehicles. The absolute second I can get out of this nightmare I will never consider an American made vehicle ever again. Absolutely disgusting.

Will never buy a Jeep again
This car could never stay on the road and we a horrible ride when it actually ran. Electrical and fuel pump issues that Jeep could never solve, accompanied by comically bad customer service the entire time. Never again Jeep.

Lots of room and comfortable
This car has so much room and rides nicely. The engine is fast on the highway and loves to run away on you. Not as a car around town, it is good for the suburbs and is difficult to park in the city. One thing I don't like is the key which you feel you need to know where it is at all times because you are afraid you might lock it in the car. I do like the AWD and really had 4 wheel drive since 2005 and might of used on-demand four-wheel drive maybe twice.

Beauty on the outside Beast of an Engine
I purchased my certified pre own jeep July 2023 with 34k miles, three months later I picked up the kids driving home and the vehicle just shut down. There were no warning lights or anything, the vehicle cluster indicated shift vehicle to park, once the vehicle stop this happened automatically. Fast forward a week later I was told the engine locked up. Second opinion obtained not the issue. Three week later they are unable to get the vehicle to start and there are still no scannable codes present.

Jeepeta
I love Jeeps I have always gone with Jeeps but I have to say I prefer the Jeep Grand Cherokee over the L SUV. The engine on the Jeep Grand Cherokee feels with more power than the L SUV. The L SUV advantage is somewhat more technologically advanced.
