An Excellent vehicle
I brought my pilot used with 45,000 miles on it back in May of 2009. Its been a very good suv and very proud of my pilot. I wrote an review about my pilot before and wanted to write another review. Its has almost 103,000 miles on it with no issue at all. The check engine light has came on two times before and found out that there was some water in the fuel from the gas station but did not cause any harm to engine but made the engine misfire and did not feel the misfire. I always change the oil every 5000 miles using the best oil. I change the transmission fluids every 10 to 15,000 miles and other services needed and its pretty cheap services needed. Good gas mileages for the size of suv.
Great SUV!
Pros: Space, power, storage, safety. Cons: mileage, non-optional 3rd row, non opening back glass I bought a 2006 Pilot EX 2WD almost 1.5 months ago and have put ~ 1200 miles on it. I've done a pretty even mix of highway and city driving and a good mix with the A/C and without. When I decided I wanted to trade in my 99 Nissan Sentra I knew I wanted something that could easily haul around 2 big dogs and possibly 3. The 3 in the running ended up being the Toyota Highlander, Saturn Vue and the Pilot. To be honest after only a few miles I knew a Pilot was what I wanted. The others just didn't compare. It handles well and came with a lot of standard things other SUVs didn't have.

Our first SUV
Pilot 2006 is our first SUV. We bought it brand new and put 40K on it and it is as reliable and dependable as it was on day 1. I love the way they equipped it with very cheap maintenance. We get family over a lot and Pilot hauls up to seven adults with no compromise on performance. Leather quality and color, touch screen navigation, very comfortable seats, roomy and classy.
Great SUV
Very nice car to own. Navigation system is very clear and easy to use and personalize with your own choice of colors, voice (male/female), etc. Rides great, powerful engine, and seems to be a very solid and well built vehicle. My only two gripes are fairly minor ones. 1) After parking and turning off the ignition, you can't open the door unless the door is unlocked first. I've never been in a car where you can't just open the door from the inside regardless of whether or not the door is locked or unlocked. Fairly annoying to always try to open the door, then realize it's locked, flip the lock open, then go back to open it again. 2) Stereo sound quality could be much better.
Very Happy owner of my pilot
I wrote a review about my Honda Pilot last year of May, and wanted to write another review again because I am still very happy with my vehicle. When I brought it the odo was reading 44,500 miles on it, and now its has 69,500 miles and its been a great vehicle with no problems nothing. Took the trip to Colorado from Texas and I was getting 26 to 29 mpg on the Highway. In town still getting 19 to 22 mpg with a little highway mix in. The best mpg was 32 and it's only happened once and the road was flat and getting tail wind coming home from Florida so it was almost 650 miles on a tank. I change the oil every 4 to 5000 miles and change the transmission fluids twice. I am planning to keep it long.
