Used 2017 GMC Canyon Consumer Reviews
Great, reliable truck
I loved the truck. Owned it for approx 3 years and had 0 issues. I was one of the lucky people who had the transmission fluid changed prior to purchase; see TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) 18-NA-355, the latest update addresses “torque converter clutch (TCC) shudder conditions on 8L45 and 8L90” eight-speed automatic transmissions. The truck was quick off the line, no issues towing (mine had a trailer brake controller), also had the Bose sound system. Gas mileage ranged between 15 city and 24 highway. Only reason I traded it in was I needed 3rd row seating. I wouldn't hesitate buying another one in the future. I realize a lot of people had transmission issues, as I said, the TSB addressed that issue for me.

Sporty good-Looking Truck
Our teenage son is driving this truck as well as us, his parents; thus we opted for the 4-cylinder engine. The truck is fun to drive and has a very nice back-up camera, which is important to us. The entertainment (bluetooth, stereo, etc.) is very good. The brakes are very responsive. We've had the truck less than a month and have already taken a road trip with it, and it served us beautifully. So far, I can happily recommend this vehicle.

Great truck
This is the best truck I have ever driven, exceptionally quiet, plenty of power, handles well in all weather conditions. The only thing I don’t like is the transmission can’t decide what gear it wants to be in when I make a turn and very slowly accelerate, which causes a slight hesitation. All said, I still give it 5 stars.

Nice truck
test driving the Canyon Denali this week. I like the truck very much, but couldn't find a comfortable driving position. The power seat is lack of adjustment and the front of the seat is too tall. I decided not to purchase it. Besides that, it's a nice truck. This is a Denali, but the seat is suck.
