1996 Ford Ranger
Excellent vehicle. Low replacement of parts during maintence except common stuff like brakes oil filter, air filter, ect.
Great little truck
This was my first new vehicle. I got it off the lot with 12 miles on it. No real complaints. this truck really is built ford tough. i hit a deer about 2 years ago. Airbag deployed and the fiberglass pieces and lights were all messed up. all messed up. got a new airbag and lights etc and got back on the road. no engine trouble. radiator was well protected. she's getting old and bouncy on bumps now tho, but she's got 170000 miles on it. check engine light has been on since i hit 50,000 miles. needs a $150 replacement sensor or something, but still runs well.

I bought this truck as a lease return from a dealer at 37k miles in 99 it now has 65k miles 3 years later... its has had 2 problems since then the thermostat went out a year after i bought it and just recently the clutch slave cylinder...which came to $500 to have fixed...other than that it has given me no complaints on/off road decent power with the 4.0/5speed, 20ish MPG,reliable!, build quality is awsome! and it will totally cream my freinds 98 tacoma (which is also a V6 and rated at 10 more horsepower)
Little 4banger needs assistance
I love my truck. I bought it as a powered wheelbarrow for hauling stuff to the dump and from Home Depot. So I bought one w/ very few creature comforts, but the thing is very comfortable to drive and great for long trips. Very comfortable seats for stock ones.
Wensday Job
I have throughly tried to beat the tires off this truck. It won't quit. The only things I have had to replace were oil,oil filters, sparkplugs, thermostat. Which as anyone knows are parts that wear out normally. I remimber when drove it by my fiends house, his dad, remarked after what i have put that truck through it must havew been a wensday job.
