Fix or repair often
I've had my 96 ranger since new and I've replaced rotors, bearings and calipers twice and I baby this thing,I've also replace all brakelines mastercylinder powersteering pump and lines. The truck has a mind of it's own and the lights inside and outside come on and go off at will as well as the alarm bells ring the motor switch on the interior fan stopped working as well and the radio won't shut off,I'll never own another one!!!
I LOVE my truck!
I have driven my little truck hard. It just keeps on ticking. I really don't mean to run it hard but it just runs so great, that it is hard not to. I compare it to a '86 Toyota 3/4 ton that I had, they both just keep performing no matter how hard they are driven. Way to go Ford!

would/will buy another
Original owner. Daily commute to work vehicle. Have hauled everything from topsoil and bedfull of mulch to furniture and big screen TV. Very dependable. Fun to drive. The 4cyl gets good gas mileage and is no slouch when paired with 5spd manual. Good feel to the tranny/clutch combo. Powerful a/c and heater. It is amazing how popular you are with friends when you are the one with the truck.
Little 4banger needs assistance
I love my truck. I bought it as a powered wheelbarrow for hauling stuff to the dump and from Home Depot. So I bought one w/ very few creature comforts, but the thing is very comfortable to drive and great for long trips. Very comfortable seats for stock ones.
Great Truck
I loved this truck. I had it for 6 years and never had a problem with it. The water pump went out and that was it. I only changed the oil. It ran perfect.
