Like Cobras???
As can be expected you get tons of looks from young and old. Outside design was a big selling point for me as I think that this current iteration of the Mustang is one of the best designs yet. Interior build quality is another matter. Overall material quality is good but big gaps here and there mar what should be a decent interior. As for gas mileage - I get an average of 23mpg.
High performance commuter
The Cobra is a high performance sports car, but, when driven sanely, is a nice ride, very reliable, and a lot of fun. I drive 120 miles/day commuting. I have not had a single problem with this car, which I have owned for over a year now. The car is docile and easy to drive, but when you need the power and handling, its there for the asking. (I get a consistent 20.5 mpg. Premium fuel is required.) I did get new tires at 25,000 miles, as the OEM were wearing fast and not good in the rain. I had a '91 5.0 LS Convertible that was equally reliable for the 135,000 miles that I drove it.

Awesome!
Great for school. All arounder. Cheap, affordable, good ride.
I will never buy a ford again.
I have had nothing but trouble with this car. Heres a summary... 0 miles: exact same squeaking sound coming from the plastic vent behind the hood that my 99 6cyl Mustang had and squealing brakes and rattling steering 5000: shift knob broke loose. 16000: the plastic handle on the inside of the driver's door broke off 18000: the keyless entry system has stopped working about half the time.
Great car, NEEDS GEARS!
Ford made a great one size fits all muscle car here. I recently bought the car with only 2400 miles on her. Love the seats, the stock exhaust sound too. However, the 4V engine does not make a lot of tq down low so from idle to 3500rpm's the 4V is a bit weak but from 3800 to 6000rpm is sheer bliss! The only good about the long 3:27 gears is if you set the cruise at 60mph you can easily get 27mpg. Cowl shake is a bit annoying buts its a 'vert so its to be expected. Fit and finish on this particular car is good for a mass produced Ford. I love this car...
