Eye candy
This truck is so high tech it's great for people who love to be connected. Great strength in every weather and it will definitely not fail to get you where you need to be. It's very spacious and comfortable for every one, great leg room too.
The great truck with a fuel efficient diesel engin
I lost my 2018 silverado 1500 with a 5.3 engine to a head on collision on December 2020. I replaced it with a 2021 1500 silverado with the new 3.o liter duramax diesel engine. After a few issues dealing with no start engine crank issues the dealership re-flashed the onboard computer and that problem went away. This truck has been wonderful to drive with an engine that will not stop pulling I have done 10,000 miles of towing a 7500lb trailer this past year. I averaged around 12.5mpg for those trips. When not towing my mileage has been around 23-25mpg. So my overall average mileage is 19.1mpg. The handling is great . Transmission performance is excellent. When Towing the engine cruises along at 2200-2800rpm. The truck rides very smooth empty but with a load the rear suspension feels like it is bottoming out or its travel is short. I will add air bags to bring the back end up under load. This is a great truck for people that tow or need a truck but have Long commutes on highway speeds. As an update, the truck is nowadays little over 3 years old. It has recorded 53000 miles of travel. Those miles are mixed with about 30 % towing a 7500# travel trailer and city/ highway miles. The current lifetime mpg is 19.2 mpg. I have recorded often times 30mpg for qma 50 mile range. My best 15cmile range is 48mpg, 50 miles=38mpg, and 400 miles=31mpg. The truck is truly reliable. Oil consumption is around 1 quart every 5000 miles. I change my oil when it is down to 25% remaining by the on board guages. That is right about 5-6 thousand miles of driving. This little engine pulls my trailer very well. I have no issues on mountain trailering Maintaining 70mph. I see other trucks struggling and mine pulls right past them. Best trailering mileage is around 55 to 65 but I rarely drive that speed. I usually trailer at around 70. While towing my m8leage is between 11 and 14mpg. Great truck.

2021 Silverado 5.3
I have no issues with my 2021 Silverado. I have 8,800 miles on it and it is still running strong. This goes to those that put safety with one or two stars, I totaled my first 2021 Silverado because people don't like to stop at stop signs and hit me. I rolled the truck and walked away without a scratch. The other two in the car that ran the stop sign and hit me went to the hospital with injuries. My truck runs great, drives great.

Lipstick on a pig.
2021 trail boss LT 5.3. Beautiful truck and always getting compliments on it however that’s where the good ends. Truck in shop 3 times for electrical issues with the stereo starting at 200 miles. Dealer tried saying it was my phone iPhone wasn’t new enough, upgraded phone and issue remained. They finally swapped out stereo however issue went from constant to occasional and not repeatable so dealer wouldn’t address again. Then at 9k started having issues with check engine light flashing occasionally, dealer again said they can’t repeat and no codes show, second time at dealership they again said the same thing this time I refused to take it until they gave me an answer so a tech hooked his laptop up and pulled misfires. I was then told faulty lifters are common on these however they won’t repair until truck knocks or check engine light won’t stop flashing. Needless to say I e fortunately lost a ton of money and sold the truck at 16k. Never again Chevy!!!!

My last GM product ever!
I leased a 2021 Silverado 1500 new. At 21,258 miles, I had a problem. I was 300 miles from home and my 5.3L V8 sounded like a diesel and it had almost no power. I limped it to a dealer about 10 miles away and left it for repair. Had to rent a car to drive home. Dealer said the lifters on bank 1 failed. They replaced the broken lifters and I had my daughter drive me to the dealership because the 'GM Reunite' program was going on 6 days of "We're trying to schedule the delivery of your vehicle to your home 300 miles away". On my way home, after 50 miles, the check engine light comes on. I drove the rest of the way home and the engine was low on power. Took to my dealer in my town, and they said the repair the other dealer did 300 miles ago failed, and lifters on bank 2 failed. Also, the camshaft is trashed. It's going to be a week or more to repair (waiting on parts). Luckily, the failure happened in an area where I could get service. But you don't know when it will fail again. What if I was in a remote area and it failed? I can't trust this truck and the minute the lease is up, it's going back and I'll never buy another GM product again. GM has known about this engine issue on the 5.3L, 6.0L and 6.2L V8 engines since 2007 and they have not changed the design or done a recall. Shameful.

Diesel... Fake scoop!!? Why!!!?
2022 trail boss with lm2 diesel.. great truck minus the fake scoop! I thought it was a real scoop as I was getting a Diesel... My fn mistake.. and what's worse is this fake scoop rubs against the hood and has chipped The paint.. for a $60k truck I'm pissed.
Own the Icon!
I have a Silverado Custom 1500 Quad Cab. The truck rides well, handles effortlessly, and have great acceleration. The turbo 4 is very impressive in power and drive-ability. Great visibility, super comfortable seats. Dashboard is old school with easy to read and use gauges. The climate controls are simple and the AC is very efficient. The entertainment system is very much like an I-phone. Not a lot of features but you've got all the basics. Tailgate is dampened and closes easy. Lots of tie downs. And, the in bed lighting is really good. I like the AC outlets in the cab and bed. I wished that you could skip to the next preset but you can only skip to the next station. And, the radio know is a bit small.

The Silverado 1500 RST is a great vehicle!
I have no complaints at all with the Silverado 1500 RST. The only reason I'm trading the vehicle is to get the 3.0L Duramax Diesel engine.

2021 Silverado 1500 Custom
I have never owned a Chevy and recently purchased a left over 1500 Custom, and I am pleasantly surprised at the looks, performance, space and its versatility. The 2.7 engine is nimble and gets you out of tight spots easily. The gas mileage is amazing even compared to my previous 6-cylinder foreign truck. All and all, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, even though I have only had it for 30 days.

Duramax with 10 speed
Not enough satisfied customers are writing reviews because I know there’s more than you think and I’m one
Great Truck!
I bought this truck new in early 2021. I drove 50,000 miles without a single problem. I have the 8 cylinder Custom model trail boss. If I had any complaint, it would be road noise as the tires wear. I had two F-150s that were good in their own right but so far my Chevy has exceeded all expectations.
Good value for the money
Have had my 2021 crew cab custom for a little over 3 years. At 70,000 miles my original tires easily passed my annual state inspection. I change the oil and rotate tires per recommendation. I have spent $0 on repairs to this point. Does it have a dated interior. Yes. But it’s a truck not a luxury vehicle.

Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom
Such a beautiful truck! Great price!
Spotty mechanical as usual
All things are okay but the Transmission has issues of Lurching and sticking when put into drive when cold and when hot. Has issue os sticking into 3 rd. Chevy Dealership Maintenance tell me there is a Bulletin regarding cold Transmission but this is NOT the case as it does this intermittently all day. Also no one has shown me a Bulleton and a deep search does NOT show one.
Rotars and Brakes
Rotars and brakes went at 18,500 miles calling it environmental concerns. The vehicle is used for personal use and never towed anything. Paid $1000 to get it repaired as chevy wouldn't cover it under there warranty.
