2025 BMW M2 Coupe Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

The 2025 BMW M2 is a high-performance version of the entry-level 2 Series coupe. Under the hood of this rear-wheel-drive two-door is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine (473 horsepower, 406 lb-ft of torque) paired with a six-speed manual transmission. An eight-speed automatic is available as a no-cost option and allows for a higher torque output of 443 lb-ft. The M2 comes in a single well-equipped trim level, though a number of equipment packages and stand-alone options are available.

Which M2 trim does Edmunds recommend?

The M2 comes with nearly every essential you'd want in a high-performance sport coupe. The options are just gravy, but there are a few you might consider to make daily drives more enjoyable. The wireless phone charger is something you'll probably use every time you're behind the wheel, and adaptive cruise control is a lifesaver for congested highway commutes. Your hardest decision might be which transmission to get. The manual is more fun and engaging, but the automatic is better for everyday use and no-fuss acceleration.
