I bought a 2018 320XI used in 2019 for $30K with about 4K miles on it in Europe (US Specs). At that price point this car is a steal and I like all the performance while saving over 12K by buying a year old car. That price point included the moon roof and sport package. This is the second BMW I've bought as a program car and I am highly satisfied. At the time of purchase my concerns included the 188 horsepower engine. While the power is not as instantaneous as the 239 horsepower of my 2008 328i it is more than enough for the American road. This car will get up and go and in Europe on the autobahn it does 120-130 MPH nicely. The same over-engineered features that make you like a BMW are present on this car. including over-steer. I have to ask: why waste money on a BMW with a performance package in the 50K range you will never use in the states to it's full potential? I'm also seeing a lower cost of ownership compared to the 328i since it runs on regular gas, not premium like the 328i. This model is one step up from BMW entry level but it is a very satisfying daily driver. Mechanical issues: none. The four year warranty that transferred with the car also provides peace of mind.Highly recommend this as a used or program car.

I recently traded in a 2010 328i for a 2019 330xi with the M package. The new car is more than sufficiently powerful, the steering is precise, the trunk is usefully larger, and it seems very well made. Also, the new tech has some real advantages. That said, in comparison with the old car, it is lumbering rather than agile..the suspension is less supple, I miss the manual transmission, and the sweet sound of the non-turbo six cylinders. Another issue is the sport seats, which I find constrict my legs so as to excite my sciatica. In short I think that if BMW produced the old cars with some added electronics, they would sell like hotcakes...

The 3 series wagon is a gem of a sleeper. And if you find a diesel powered one, buy it! How can a car this powerful (X drive makes it exceptionally sure footed, especially with the incredible amount of torque this engine puts out), yet still get solid 30 ~ 40+ miles to gallon in real world driving??? I talked my wife into it...now she'll never part with it. We were lucking to get one pretty heavily equipped - only missing the surround view cameras we have on on X5, which would have made it perfect. The M package ads a very distinctive look (steering wheel looks and feels far better) and the sport seats are PERFECT in their support and adjustability for those 500+ mile drives on a single tank of diesel! We've loaded it up with all sorts of people/gear and the fold down flexibility of the rear seats can't be beat! Our daughter was out for a few days and borrowed it - loved it so much we purchased another! And you won't know it's a diesel at all - starts instantly, ZERO smoke (actually cleaner than our gas X5...exhaust pipe end stays clean!) and they refill the DEF when serviced - we've never had to add it. We've got 50k on it...and expect to keep it for twice that.

Paired with a turbo charged engine and a remarkable 8 speed transmission, this car is a fantastic driving machine. I put on about 30k miles a year, and it drives great in all conditions. Lover the driver assistance package with the heads up display. The interior is a litte understated but very nice and upscale. Great color combinations. Technology and entertainment and sound system are great. Drives and feels solid in all road conditions.

I love this car. It looks amazing with the 19” rims. There is a learning curve due to all the tech, but it is fantastic.
