'04 BMW 330 Performance Package
I'm 6'1" 220. A little small and under powered for me. Matters not, it's the wife's car, never was about me. She loves everything about it. No getting rid of her baby. Things that are important to me. No problems mechanically, not even waranty issues. Never had to bring the car in. 12000 miles before oil change as per onboard computer. Tires wearing well, that's a good thing because they're */- $300.00 each.(Z rated tires). I find it fun to drive on short trips but highway driving, well, give me my suburban or a 540i any day.
Solid Fun
Leased new - still really enjoy the vehicle - anticipate buying at the end of the 3 years. Drives smoothly w/more than enough motor to go when and where you need it. Commutes easily, highway powerful and back road perfect. X is nice in the snow - confident handling. Love the look. Feel is solid and comfortable the "leatherette" manual seats are actually quite nice and worry free. Two repairs [windshield stone at dealer and rear end collision out sourced] both done well. BMW dealer maintenance convenient w/nice loaners - and we use the free car wash Saturday AM at our dealer] Perfect two-person vehicle - back seat room larger than appears, but not expansive. Runs on premium.

Information
I moved from a 1986 Acura Legend (first US model) to the 325i Bimmer due to a favorable military overseas purchase price. The BMW is what they say it is but it is not perfect. I find the layout of buttons regulating windows (in the center console) to be awkward compared to almost all other cars with controls mounted on the door armrest area; if you live in a gated community, the frequent use of this item can be a nuisance. The trunk is too small for more than one set of golf clubs! Otherwise, this machine is impeccable in construction and the performance is outstanding, especially at high speeds!
Great Car
I've only had the car for a few weeks but this is easily the best all around car I've ever owned. It's fit/finish and comfort are almost perfect.
'04 330 Sport 6speed
BMW Certified with 26k miles. Driving to work has never been so fun (even with traffic and a manual transmission)! The sport suspension is a bit stiff but not M3 stiff. Mileage is good (22 in city driving and 31.5 on highway; the 6th gear really does well for road trips). Corners like a go-cart; you point it, it goes there. Stereo system needs to be totally revamped; limited improvement by adjusting controls. Very noticeable tire noise with OEM Continentals (I look forward to changing them). Very clean, classy interior layout. Sport suspension, low profile tires and front facing give a very athletic look. Short throw shifter is a hoot. Small car, so spend some time in it prior to buying.
The Ultimate Driving Machine
Have owned Porsche, Volvo, Audi, Saab, BMW, Mercedes, VW & am used to superb handling, but this BMW is incredible! I drove it home 500 miles immediately after buying and it was a blast!. Before I bought I did my research and drove Infiniti G35x, MB 320 4matic, Subaru Legacy GT, Volvo S60R and while the others may have more hp and maybe even be a bit faster, none compared to the overall driving experience of the 330xi! There is a lot to be said about the differences in handling with AWD cars built from RWD platforms vs FWD platforms. It may be as smooth and tight as my 82 Porsche 911sc. 27.5 mpg coming home was a huge bonus!
4 years later, still in love with it
I just had my 2004 325i detailed, and I feel just like the day I drove it off the lot - it is still that much fun to drive. The best surprise I've had with this car is the highway gas mileage. According to the trip computer, I get between 33-34 (sometimes a little more) mpg on the freeway, and that's driving at 70-75 mph. Other than a short in a headlight socket, I haven't had a single problem with this car in the 53K miles I've driven it. Most fun and, again, surprisingly, most reliable car I've ever had, including 3 Hondas and two Toyotas.
A Change
From having a truck or SUV for every car that I have owned, I have to say this is fun to drive. My last vehicle was a Tahoe I needed a more fuel economical vehicle. I researched and test drove several cars and would have to say this is the best one. It could use some more interior room and definitely a useful second cup holder. Still not sure what all the buttons do. Beware of pulling into parking spots that have a curb, you will scrape. Leather seats seems to get a lot hotter than my other leather seats. My brakes seem to leave black residue on them (no I am not hard on the brakes).
Great car, wish it had better mpg
I have owned my 325i for 4 months now and so far I love the car. The only thing I am disappointed with so far is the fuel economy. I drive about 40 miles a day. Of that about 60% is highway and I get a average of 21-23 MPG. I tried changing driving habit and maintaining tire pressure and all I get is 24 mpg tops.
BMW 330i SPEED :-)
I have had this car for 1 year now and love it. It has the zhp package which makes it like a 4 door m3. Its very fast. I recently learned of a race mode for it. Put it in sport mode then the button (DSC) push and hold for 4 seconds a dsc light comes on allong with a orange light that says brake. When you get it in this put your foot on the floor from a stop and feel the POWER.
Great car, however...
Too many issues. I love my car, however I am taking it in for service at least once a month. The moldings around doors, windows, and fan motor break on a regular basis.
Awesome sporty
Make sure you get it checked by a mechanic that knows bmws after 190000 miles still has power it looks great if you do the regular maintenance she'll be fine and don't use cheap gas!it gonna have it new parts find online or genuine parts I love it once I get another vehicle I'll keep her in garage sporty

A fantastic car
This is the car of my dreams! It handles fantastic. It accelerates so fast, yet so smooth. I drove it home from Seattle to my home 200 miles away and it was so great. I was so relaxed having the cruise control on and listening to the fantastic sound from the stereo.
I like this car
I have really enjoyed driving this car.
UDM no - be careful selecting a dealer
It's always being a dream of mine to own a BMW. I guess the moral of the story is be careful what you wish for... it might come true. It is a nice car to drive, good handling, performance is somewhat lacking with the manual transmission, but I've brought it back to the shop almost every month since it was 3months old with one problem or another. Tulley BMW of Nashua are terrible, guess their a known problem in BMW circles. BMW have put me in touch with another dealer who hopefully resolve the problems you wouldn't expect in a car that costs this much.
Nirvana
When comparing value, quality and of course fun, BMW beats them all. If fun is not a factor get an old Yugo, if value is not a factor get a Chevy and if quality is not a factor get a Chrysler. The only short fall is the lack of cupholders but I guess with the performance of this car you should keep it in your hand anyway or it may just get away from you. Besides that who would want a nasty spill in the beautiful machine?
Highly recommended!
The BMW325xi is the first luxury car I have owned and I am having a great time driving it. It responds and handles very well with excellent acceleration and control. The dashboard and other controls are laid out very well so they are easy to locate and operate. I am very happy with the car and recommend it without hesitation.
cars of new york
My experiance with this car is it's a great car. It drives smoothy and quietly it's not to fast not to slow. It has great mileage. The details in the car is wonderful. It fits anyone of any size. It's a great car to drive around in and show off!
The Greatest Car Ever
Can't get enough of this great machine! Will never drive anyting else but a BMW. Too fun too drive.
New low in customer service
The car has its fun moments, but you cannot count on BMW customer service team. I have had several incedences where they just didn't stand by their car when something goes wrong. They put their buttom line first. I recently had a tail light replaced and they gave me nothing but poblems. I discovered that it was cracked a day after I had it replaced, but they said it was damaged by road debris. A gremlin would have been a better excuse.
BMW 330i
The driver's set is cramped. The ride is poor. The reliability is poor. I have had it in the shop twice in the last two months with problems. German engineering is no longer the best. I plan to trade it as soon as possible and look for a Japanese engineered and designed car.
