Constant electrical issues and bad technologu

This car worked great for 5 months and then hasn’t worked since. The driver’s side charger connection doesn’t connect even though it’s been replaced requiring charging from the passenger side which is inconvenient and can’t fast charge. The battery charges to a max of 140 in the winter and the dealer says it’s not an issue. Constant issues with car play and MMI connectivity. Overall the worst car I have ever owned. These are issues that are common with this car and Audi won’t address them

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS MALFUNCTION!!!

I loved my 2021 Audi etron sportback like no other car I had ever owned or driven. Then, one day out of nowhere, the ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS MALFUNCTION hit my etron and it has been a paper weight brick at the Audi dealership ever since. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ETRON, PLEASE PLEASE RESEARCH THE ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS MALFUNCTION!!! AUDI HAS ZERO ABILITY TO DIAGNOSIS AND SERVICE!!!

We recently financed 2021 E-tron. Battery range is supposed to be about 230+ miles or so. We installed EV charging station with 240V and 40A settings. With 80% charge, it still gives less than 150 miles, although it should be close to 180+ miles.

Brain Damaged! They bought it back, I guess

I have purchased 5 different Audi/VW vehicles with the last two being EVs. The VW ID4 is new and as no initial quality issues at 500 miles. All electronics work as expected. I Wish I could say the same for the $105k Audi E Tron SUV I purchased. There was a minor paint issue that needed repair and was completed with 3 separate visits, but that is a dealer problem. My huge issue is with the MMI (Multi Media) which never seems to work correctly. If you know about EVs, you know that maintenance is very minimal (once a year for 10k miles per year). However, this model seems to be different. I have had to take it in for service no less than 4 times in the 14 months I have owned it. It always seems to be the same issue and the same resolution: wipe out the MMI brain and reprogram. There are only so many times you can attempt the same solution before it becomes a lost cause. And we are there! What happens is the Sirius XM shows as “ initializing and never completes. In addition, the screen goes black and nothing will function with the exception of what is currently playing. This happens with the Apple CarPlay, Sirius XM, Radio, and several vehicle commands. The only way to resolve the issue is to pull over, turn off the car, and reboot. This will resolve the blank screen, but not the Sirius XM and connection issue. I was even given the Engineering Code so that I could maybe fix myself. It didn't work. I am at the place where I wonder when the "Lemon Law" applies. Believe me, we will be discussing this at the next visit. Side note: to schedule an appointment takes up to 2 months to schedule due to the lack of technicians needed. I am at the point where I will be researching other EV brands to purchase like MB or Lucid. This saddens me as I have been an Audi customer for the last 20 years. Update: they finally offered to repurchase as it was in the shop this last time 65+ days with no repair. They said my car repairs were “completed”. Not that it was fixed. Please be careful when Audi gives you an offer to repurchase, they will totally low-ball you and attempt to not cover “collateral costs”. They should pay for insurance for days in shop, license taps - prorated. Down payments and any other incidentals. You do not come out whole in the end. You get screwed out of the equity you have built. I got paid 38K for a car worth 56K and they can and will resell it. It’s BS

I own it. Comfort scale solid 10. Range could be longer. Regenerative breaking, contrary to "expert" comment, is available. Regenerative breaking is exactly what makes tesla unbearable. Suspension is superior to anything that Tesla will make in next 10 years and it will out corner all Teslas for a while. Ignore all marketing buzz, go test drive Tesla, then while experience fresh, test drive Etron. Comfort, superior suspension and virtually no marketing... If you still like Tesla after that, buy Tesla, good luck sitting in that 350 miles.. yak.

This car exudes luxury! The seats hugs you Ana massages too! The technology is phenomenal and so intuitive the only downfall is the battery life. Doesn’t get the 224 advertised just yet, according to Audi you need about 3,000 miles, So I’m still waiting.

Let’s begin with miles range it’s extremely low and unsatisfactory… if you use your AC and interface drains battery this vehicle should give at least 320 miles range also the lack of Audi to do upgrades on software and miles range it’s insane !! The ride is confort but the seat lack cushion and quality they made it to cheap for $74k car u get better interior on a Toyota Camry top tier …. Need lots of improvements shame on Audi can wait until my lease is done !!!

Five Star if 350 mile range

I love the etron: fit, finish, ride and performance. I feel the range of 200 miles depending on conditions is too low. Eventually the range will increase with more efficient batteries but the car in question will not see that benefit.

Pros: - Decent exterior. - Garage door opener is probably the best around lol - Comfortable interior Cons: -Adaptive cruise control switch poorly designed, WHY are there three switches?!! So awkward trying to set the cruise control when you hand accidentally goes towards the signal switch above. Why couldn’t Audi just integrate this into the wheel like any other manufacturer - Stiff steering wheel, if I’m in comfort mode it should be relatively loose - Useless app!!!! Never works, my Honda Hyundai volvo apps worked from day one! Audi is totally useless. For an 85k car, WAY overpriced!
