I Have always wanted a tacoma since
middle school, so i finally got one!
And love it! Although, what is with
the rattling passenger airbag...i've
noticed alot of people have had this
problem...and yes, I HAVE IT TOO!!!
what I did though was just put a small
thin cloth between the windshield and
dash and hadn't heard it rattle since,
but the cloth is VERY noticable. If
you are thinking about getting one,
it's a wise investment...but if you
buy a 2WD it doesn't do so good off-
road, i'd go with the 4WD...
Body-Style, front-end styling
interior could use a boost, and that
I bought this truck new, 2002 4X4 TRD
xtracab. 2 years and 45,000 miles
later I've got no complaints at all.
All I've done is oil changes and other
minor dealer recommended maintenance.
Tires are ready to be replaced and
brakes are at about 50%. Fuel
efficiency could be a better... i get
about 17 avg.
Reliability! Tears through anything
Better fuel economy. Plus I don't know
why a $23,000 truck doesn't come
standard with keyless entry or a lock
on the fuel door.
Truck looks great and runs even
better...solid, tough, no-nonsense...i
recommend a no frills, bells or
whistles model, with a manual
transmission and four-wheel drive...i
use mine to drive up mountains and
across deserts...have fun
