2004 Nissan Murano SUV SE Fwd 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

Loved the car from the first time I saw
it. Had been looking at the Infiniti
FX35. Murano had all the same features
but for 10K less. I have had no
problems at all with the car. Its the
best car I have ever owned.

Best Features

Great acceleration, really enjoy the sound system, lots of interior room.

Worst Features

Steering is a little restricted at lower RPM.

2004 Nissan Murano SUV SL AWD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

I have been driving my Sunlit Copper
SL AWD for nearly a year now. This
is, by far the best vehicle I have
ever owned. Yes,the mileage is not
what they said it would be, however
these are only comparison mileage
figures, I don't know of a car that
actually gets what the sticker says. I
get around 19 mpg if I drive like I
have good sense. The CVT tranny is
tricky at first, if you put your foot
in it, it will eat gas. Once I got
used to the way it operated it was all
good.

Best Features

Love the way it handles. I still have folks walking up to me asking me about this car.

Worst Features

I have had some rattling issues. I live in the mountains and the roads are quite rough. My dealership has been great solving any problems I have had. Nissan should re-think the wiper/turn signal combo.

Review

Good looking peppy car/suv. Interior is
very comfortable and everything is easy
to get at. Gas mileage is nowhere near
that advertised, but then again, no car
ever is. The power drivers seat tends
to move slightly when you re-enter the
car and first sit down. The front a/c
adapter is tough to plug into. There's
also a front storage area under the
radio that is tough to get at. You'll
also forgot you put anything there.
It's fun to drive, handles well and
provides good visibility, except
through the small rear windows.

Best Features

6 CD changer, tire pressure readings, ability to schedule maintenance reminders, sun roof, peppy engine gets you going on highway quickly, handles well, brakes well, good air bag system giving strong feeling of security. Power windows, side mirrors and drivers seat that have memory

Worst Features

Hatchback window should open, the luggage screen flaps in the wind and is a pain to open/close. Don't like that drivers seat moves slightly when you settle into it. Figure out better gas mileage. Needs - easier way to get at a/c adpater, larger cell phone holder & glove compartment

Review

Smooth ride and very comfortable with
lots of options. Love the style and
handling of the Murano. Very good
pickup.

Best Features

Plenty of room with a great bose sound system. 10 way power drivers seat with lumbar support along with adjustable foot pedals adds to the comfort.

Worst Features

The CVT transmission can be slow at times, but its a minor flaw with the car and the only one.

Review

I enjoy the overall comfortability of
this car. You glide right into the
seats, you don't have to climb in or
duck down to get in it. It's definitely
my favorite choice out of all the SUV's
on the market.
