2006 Ford F-150 XLT 4dr SuperCrew 4WD Styleside 5.5 ft. SB (4.6L 8cyl 4A)
Bought this truck in January and have had no problems yet. This truck is sound when driving. Road noise is hardly noticeable, especially with wind gusts above 30 miles an hour. My truck actually has the 5.4 engine and this has plenty of power. The 3 valves per cylinder helps increase the overall performance of the vehicle. The dash controls are easy to reach and this truck has plenty of storage space. The tires provide good traction also.
The two features that I wanted on it that I like are the outside turn signals and power adjustable pedals. Being short and having the pedals come to you make me feel safer as I am not close the the steering wheel/airbag.
All around a huge improvement from the previous generation of F-150's. I would hope that some one at Ford makes next year's model come with side curtain airbags. Also they need to do what Dodge is doing to the 1500 models and have some cylinders shut down when on highway to increase fuel economy.
