First the right front passenger, 2 days later the left rear went flat. The dealership replaced both. My wife loves this car it made us through DC winter snow without any issues. No warning, really blew - burned plates, parts everywhere. Chevy rebuilt it - question, should I keep the car? I've seen posts on Edmunds indicating this is a common problem. Is a rebuilt tranny the same as the old one (so the original design is bad) or do you think they have fixed whatever causes 2008 transmissions to fail? And suddenly by the way, no slippages, no warning.

I have a 2010 Equinox LT2 V6 and am having a recurring problem with the Service Air Bag light and (annoying) chime coming on. I took the car in to the local Chevy dealer 2 months after I got it and they fixed it. Then a month later it went on again (at 4000 miles). They first said it could be wiring under the driver's seat, then they had to order ... Read More

Not an hour after my chat with Tom Williams, another driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox FCEV as part of GM Project Driveway, he leaves a message on my cell phone: "When I drove up to downtown L.A. from Orange County today, I got 60 miles to the kilogram. I don't know about you, but I love that." 2008 Chevrolet Equinox FCEV Full Test and Video
Hi oldfashioned. I don't believe that General Motors is providing any dealer cash on the 2008 Chevrolet Equinox right now. It is currently offering 3.9%-6.9% special financing plus $1,000 bonus cash or $2,500 total customer cash on this model. If I was in the market for one right now, I personally would offer a couple hundred dollars over dealer invoice minus the cash incentives. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing ... Read More

Hey phil56. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox AWD with 12,000 miles per year are 6.1% and 52%, respectively. If you haven't leased your Equinox yet, you're in luck. General Motors just introduced a $1,000 President's Day bonus cash incentive on it that's good through the end of the month. You can use this cash to reduce the capitalized ... Read More

Driving the Equinox FCEV (a mouthful of initials that stands for fuel-cell electric vehicle) is just as routinely humdrum as driving a regular crossover SUV with a regular internal combustion engine. That, though, is remarkable in itself. First Drive: 2008 Chevrolet Equinox FCEV

How about a 36 month - 12,000 mile/year lease for a 2008 Chevy Equinox LTZ AWD in Chicago, IL? Also, what's the difference in per month lease cost for the above-mentioned scenario when you put $0 compared to $2500. Thanks, Car man.

It would be easier for me to estimate these trucks' lease payments if I knew exactly what their selling prices are. For now I will assume that you are being given a $1,500 discount on the ...
