"Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn will headline the announcement, which is expected to reveal a new direction for Nismo's core mission," said Nissan in a statement.

The 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo debuted earlier this month at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The first Nissan production car to get the Nismo treatment, the Juke Nismo, is already on sale in Europe and Japan and will be launched in the U.S. in the second quarter of this year.

I would love to see Nissan bring back the Altima SE-R, with a Nismo package. The 06 SE-R was a killer sedan and at the time 275 HP from te 3.5 liter VQ engine was nothing to laugh at.

How about a Nismo Sentra SE-R ( 2 door please like the early 90's version) ........or the new low priced 4cylinder sports car based on the Juke engine and chassis that is coming soon .............or maybe a small 2 door hot hatch dedicated to peerformance and economy ? Now all of these would make me interested in Nissan again and drop by their showroom.

  • Hell I just hope they annouce something soon about a NEW Frontier, Xterra, and Titan!!
