INGOLSTADT, Germany — Audi is showcasing the merits of the 2013 Audi RS 6 Avant in its latest viral video called The Duel.
Audi put Ben Collins, formerly of Top Gear, behind the wheel of the powerful 2013 Audi RS 6 Avant for the video where he chases Damien Walters, the Parkour specialist, through a concrete jungle. Each guy is equipped with paint-filled eggs. They attempt to put points on the board by tagging each other with their colorful weapons as many times as they can.
While we wouldn't put it past Collins to be able to hit Walters mid-drift, he is in fact equipped with a special carbon-fiber egg launcher that is mounted to the wagon's door.
The stunts in the video include everything from Walters doing flips over the car to the ex-Stig flirting with the edge of a dock during a speedy drift.
The Audi RS 6 Avant was redesigned for the 2013 model year and features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 rated at 553 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. It sprints to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
The Audi RS 6 Avant is currently not offered in the States. It starts around $124,000 in Europe.
Edmunds says: The video just makes you wish that beastly grocery-getter was sitting in your driveway.
