I will skip the "admiration" part of the vehicle description. We bought our vehicle brand new from the dealership in Canada. It had no issues and ran smoothly first 5,000 km. It's almost 8,000km on the odometer at the moment. For this period of time we've had issues with media system (the system switches to mute voluntarily while driving and turns back to normal only after reset), rattling plastic part over the driver's head (seriously? this is a CAN80K car), defect brakes, malfunctioning outside sensors, squeaking outside mirror... Every time the dealer requests to "replicate" the issue referring to the VW requirements. I've already spent hours working from the dealership waiting room. Hopefully they will improve in the future.

I just rented a 2022 Cross Sport and drove it 2000 miles to Tennessee and back to NY. This vehicle handles like it's on rails in rain or shine. I disagree with Edmunds' assessment that it runs out of steam at high speeds. It goes like a striped ape at high speed and feels like it could do so all day long. I do agree that it does not have the best acceleration from a dead stop. On my trip, I got over 30 mpg average for the whole trip. If I had the money and I was in the market for a new vehicle, I would buy this one. I give it 4 1/2 stars.

Amazing technology in this vehicle with an8.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth works flawlessly. Beautiful styling with 20-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights/ taillights. Adaptive cruise control with automatic braking, and parking sensors for front andback, lane departure and assist are fabulous. The vehicle is very spacious. Yes, would like to have more pep...but overall great.
