My partner and I researched for many months, trying to find the car WE wanted without sacrificing anything. After 6 months, we found it. We had also considered VW, and Buick. When we went to the dealer to look at the black, Grand Touring Mazda6, we knew after driving it, our search was over. Almost every single day someone approaches us to compliment our car. It is THAT eye catching. In … the time we’ve owned it, we’ve not had 1 issue wrong, and nothing but driving pleasure. Now let me gush about the mileage we’ve achieved with our Mazda. In doing research, we discovered claimed, almost 40 miles to the gallon highway driving. We thought perhaps this was wishful thinking. We decided to test our 6 on a long weekend to Asheville. This trip proved we made the right choice. We were shocked that for such a large sedan, it was indeed averaging 38, 39 miles per gallon on our 3 1/2 hour trip. This car looks like a much pricier model, lots of strangers asking what it is, and in 2 cases, actually writing down the make, or taking a photo of the badge. And mileage performance compared to a compact car is unheard of. This experience made us more than likely, repeat Mazda customers. The only thing missing for us, the Mazda6 is available in Europe as a wagon too. If a wagon version were offered in the U.S., we’d be at the dealership tomorrow.
