Reliably good car but terrible technology

2018 Lexus LS 500
This is my 4th LS. Besides the expected quality and reliability, this is a fun car to drive. Not as velvety as the prior 3, but smooth enough for the added driving experience. Seats and cabins are comfortable. Now to the horribly unreliable technology. The worst is the voice recognition. It's utterly worthless. The process to navigate through the various functions is dangerous … because of the poor design, but it's flaky nature makes it even more dangerous. The climate control is awful. The foot under trunk sensor has worked twice and both times I didn't mean to make it work. Its never worked when I've tried. And the anti collision sensors are WAY to sensitive. I've pulled up to shrubs in a parking lot a little quick and the car unexpectedly slams on the breaks and sounds an alarm. Scares the crap out of you. If they could just dual in the technology the car would get a 5 from me
