I bought a 2019 Chevy Cruze in Dec 31'st, sold my 2008 vette. I bought this car for MPG and a bit bigger for my service dog. A couple weeks ago I was at a local farmers market, my dog was hot so I put her in the car (Push button start) I came back about 20 minutes later and my dog was COOKING in the car with it off. Thankfully it was only off for 5 minutes but this gave me sheer terror, I took the car to GM, asked them what they could do in extending the time frame, they were nice but ultmately refused to do anything for me. Pushed me towards GM, I worked with them for a little over a month, we got technical involved. I escalated to the Customer service facing side and they called it a "safety feature" that the car turns off after 25 minutes with a dog or child present. The district manager also ultimately refused to buy back the car. During our further training, I literally have to watch the car and make sure it doesn't turn itself off while we are waiting. I brought my service dog into the dealership and this was not told to me when I bought it, I loved the buying process but now after calling Toyota locally, they have SUV's that will not turn off and i'm stuck footing the bill. I'm now forced as a employee of one of your financial partners to go through my channels to see if we can get SOMEONES attention up higher. Here's what I want: I want you to buy back the car. So I can get into a car that will stay running if my dog needs to be in there for a limited period of time. Until I do, I'm going to make as much noise as my keyboard will allow.

I moved here for work and with only 6 weeks of DMV living under my belt, I knew I would trade in my darling Honda Pilot eventually but the stars aligned and eventually was Xmas week 2019. I visited this dealership 2x. Johnathan Reyes the nicest salesperson ever initially helped me. I was there to look/window shop and to get a diagnostic on my current vehicle. I wasn't in the market for an new car but Johnathan took such good care of me that when I found the pre-owned car I wanted, I went back to speak to him. At the time, I arrived (unexpectedly), Johnathan was giving another customer stellar service; so I was introduced to Remoe Doherty. Remoe greeted me at the door and from that moment Remoe was sure to listen and understand my situation (just moved). He showed me the car, took me for a test drive and then proceeded to walk me through the process of potentially making this car mine. Enter Carmen Wells, who made sure that the paperwork and numbers made sense for this new DMV transplant; as I got settled. Without this final step, I was ready to walk out the dealership without a car. Moving costs a lot of money and Carmen closed the deal. THE POINT: Johnathan, Remoe and Carmen where the dream team that made my first major purchase in DMV such a pleasure. I purchased my first 3 Hondas from the same salesperson in NY because the customer service was awesome and now that I am in this area, I will surely be back to these professionals when it is time to buy my next. This dealership tried to add over $3,000 in addition to taxes, tags, and dealer processing to their advertised "Guaranteed Wow" price. The fees included over $2,000 for a reconditioning fee and another $700 for some sort of deluxe detail package. The sales person did quickly remove the $700 fee but admitted that the store advertises a lower "Wow" price to get people in the door and then add the restoration fee. After showing the Koons Wow Price Promise on the Koons website the general manager removed the restoration fee. The only reason I drove to this dealership was the reassurance that there would be no hidden fees associated with the Koons Wow price, finding out this not be the case was disappointing. When I took delivery of the car, in addition to only being provided one key fob the vehicle had a warning light displayed stating there was an issue with the remote starter. I was instructed to take the vehicle to a Honda dealership to have this issue diagnosed. The vehicle needed a new start/stop switch. Koons did reimburse me for this expense but it took a few reminders to have the reimbursement check sent to me. I was told the check would be over-nighted but instead it took two weeks to get reimbursed. I've had the vehicle for a little over a month and the second key fob that was supposed to be mailed has never arrived. I contacted my sales associated several times and told several times that it would be sent. I don't like having to be a pest and repeatedly check on the status of an item. I have texted and emailed several times and at this point am counting my losses. The sales associate, Dequan, was cordial and helpful, though I'm not sure why he never sent the key fob. Had it not been for Dequan I would have likely walked away from this dealership and rated it a one.
