Not the best gas mileage but great power for towing.

Nice truck
Good truck, great looking, low on power, get the 5.7, I got the 4.6. Transmission is always searching for the right gear when cruise control is on.

Leaves a lot to be desired
2017 Tundra SR5 TRD. Truck is two weeks old now and has several items that could use improving. Audio system / infotainment system is beyond terrible. Seriously it's the worst of any new car or truck I have ever had (and I've owned a lot). Pretty much the whole inside is blow molded plastic and cheap. Seats are flat and do not hold you whatsoever and are by no means comfortable. Lots of road noise and again the radio isn't decent enough to help out. Gauge cluster could use extra gauges (trans temp specifically) and also other features like most vehicles from this decade have as standard. Truck is overall fair at best. I'm sure it's going to be reliable but it leaves plenty to be desired in a 2017 model year vehicle. I enjoy driving my 91 Sentra that has 260,000 miles more.

Reliable Tundra
great rating on reliability, choppy ride, great handling. In the day time very difficult to see dash screen for backup camera. Cannot get bench split seat for front seat on the Limited, to bad. overall looks, kinda boring. -three years later -- after owning the truck for three years now, everything is great except that the steel in the bed of the truck EASILY dents and caves in. Also, the steel in the inner upper tail gate bends in to the point that the release will not release the tailgate to come down. even just stepping on it has bent the upper inner tail gate. Even worse, when returning the truck to the dealer for a solution to this problem, no solution from Toyota even after calling the 1=800 number. Trucks were made for work, but not this bed. Guess they want you to buy a hardshell liner After driving this truck for almost 5 years, Not real sure We would buy another Tundra. Instead of solutions from Toyota, more excuses. This truck is definitely not engineered for owners to do much maintenance.
