Love my Prius!
Carried four men, probably about 1,000 total pounds at 95 mph no problem and still got 45+ mpg and all were very comfy. What more can you ask for?

Love it !
Doesn’t have a lot of get up n go... but it is AWESOME! On gas mileage. (My main reason for choosing it). After driving it a few days.. I love it ! It drives good and rides good and nice on the inside. Takes getting used to driving ... it’s not not regular cars. Sometimes u can’t hear the engine and I think it not on lol. I was told they last 300,000 miles ... we will find out !

Great problem free commuter
This Prius has been trouble free. I bought it new in 2012, I now has 125k miles on it and still rides and feels new. I bought specifically for by 30 miles each way commute. It gets 45 mp which is awesome considering my driver over windy roads, busy freeways and stop and go surface streets. My next car will be another Prius.
I will always own a Prius
Bought my 2012 in 2011 brand new to replace an Infiniti G35. Was tired of wasting $350 in premium gas each month with all the driving that I do. My brother convinced me to get a Prius so I figured I would give it a try. I am hooked. It is a wonderful feeling to know you can go anywhere you want and gas will never be an excuse not to go. The car has really held up through all the miles and 4 minor accidents I was involved in. I took a look at the brake pads at 115,000 miles and they were only worn down halfway. That's ridiculous. My G35 needed new brakes every 60k miles. All I do is change the oil & filter after 10k miles. Gas it up and go. Tires cost me about $260 every 3 years. I also take my Prius up to the mountains for snowboarding. I have studded tires and my car can pretty much go everywhere the Subaru's and SUV's go. Have not had any issues with the battery pack but I already set aside $1500 from the gas savings over the last 6 years to replace it with a remanufactured one when it does fail. Everything still works on the car like brand new, the only things I have replaced are the headlight bulbs. I will always have a Prius. They are pretty much bulletproof.

fuel economy is misleading
I was buying this model in February-March 2012, when neither diller, no Toyota website had the 2012 model description. I was told that the model is exactly as 2011. It turned out that there's single difference - parking assist was removed from 2012 model. Huge, huge disappointment! Another minus is that Toyota, looks like intentionally!, overstates fuel economy. The car does regularly show 49 to 51 overall mpg, but the number is always (I mean ALWAYS) 2-2.5 mpg higher than reality (miles driven/number of galons filled in). At 60mph the car shows speed 2mph higher than external GPSes. May be related to the previous. Tires are bad, very noisy on hwy. Hwy mpg is only about 40 at 70-75mph.
