Definitely impressed!
Always considered buying (and have had a Toyota previously) for their engine/brand reliability. But this model has blown my wife and I away. We have the 2022 Limited trim. Creature comforts are off the charts, great intuitive display for carplay, air controls, etc. Fast on highway, luxury style driving and "float" on city roads. Recommend captain 2nd row for big kids. Third row room doesn't matter unless you're seriously trying to make one of these your commuter as a big family.... otherwise they are there for when you need them. Just throw the smallest kids back there and you'll be good. SLEEK eye appeal. Roomier than expected once you're inside, despite looking "small" from the outside. So far, I love this vehicle. ***7500 miles later, still going great… interior ceiling upholstery at the edges could be more tactful, but that sounds petty. Wonderful truck/SUV!***

Smooth/Powerful
We fell in love with this vehicle because of how comfortable, rides very smoothly but yet it's very powerful. It is extremely roomie inside, it came with the weather tech mats. The technology on this SUV it's amazing, cameras everywhere for safety so you don't have an excuse to bump any were. I cannot say enough good things about this SUV.

Beautiful SUV, Terrible Seat
We were very excited to purchase a new 2022 Highlander Platinum to replace our 2018 Highlander Limited, which we love. We put a deposit on one, and finally got to drive one today. The outside bolster on the passenger seat caused pain on my right hip in just a 4 mile test drive. My wife found the seat uncomfortable too. The seats in the Limited were the same. As much as we really want a new Highlander we cannot buy a new SUV with seats that cause us pain. Toyota, please go back to seats similar to those in our 2018 Highlander Limited.
2022 Highlander
The seats are too hard. This Highlander needs to take a lesson from Nissan Murano for future interior. It is the inside of a car you drive in. We bought the Highlander for its versatility and reliability.

Totally impressed with the XLE trim
I have had a 2008 Ford Escpae, 2011 Chevy Equinox,2014 Dodge Journey, and a 2020 Ford Explorer(among a few others vehicles.). The Explorer is a solid vehicle but someone decided to back their vehicle into my front passenger side and it’s was problematic ever since, I sold it and got this 2022 Toyota Highlander. I live in Manitoba and we had the heaviest snowfall amounts for almost 75 years and this Highlander handled it really well. The informant system lacks a built in Navigation system with with Apple car play I don’t even miss it. Could also use the door lock function the back hatch closer button like my Explorer had. Otherwise, I am 3500 KMS and loving it.
