Touch Of Class
Saddens me that USA won't build something of this caliber. Has all the personality of a perfect gentleman. Refined, reserved, full of class but never snooty, this is as near a perfect vehicle as I have ever seen. Bland? Boring? Never! Want exitement? Buy a Pontiac. If you want the Ultimate Family Machine, the HL is for you. 10 years from now it will still have its dignity, which is more than can be said for the competition.
High Lander
Both it with 12,500 miles. Could not be more happy. Quality, interior room, drives like a car, very smooth. It is really a solid vehicle. It inspires reliability bumper to bumper. My is dark blue (navy blue) and brings sun roof & Privacy Glass giving the appearance of semi luxury and cool fresh look to fit everywhere I go.

Have to drive to appreciate
When I went in to the dealership, I wanted a bigger SUV like the 4-Runner. I was trading in an X-Terra. I couldn't afford the 4-Runner so I test drove a Highlander with a few extras and drove it home. I was very pleased with the difference between this suv and the x- terra. It was wonderful being in a quiet smooth ride.
Drives like a dream!
Powerful, smooth, quiet...if you are looking for comfortable city driving, this SUV will not disappoint you! I can't comment on off-road use because I don't do that. This is not considered a "luxury" SUV like the Land Rover, but gosh, what else could you want? If you buy the Limited model you already have almost every feature you can think of. This is the best car I've ever owned! I would definitely buy another one.
Loved My Highlander
We purchased the Highlander right before a big snowstorm last year and it immediately proved it's worth. Though our street went unplowed for almost a week, we were out driving every day. It handled great! We recently sold the Highlander because with another baby on the way, we decided to move into the realm of minivans and got an '04 Sienna. But we were very pleased with the resale value on the Highlander, and would have been happy to keep it if we could afford payments on two new cars.
